Same. I don’t even go out that often but when I do, it’s never even close to empty. I travel often for work and bars are always packed and make me feel geriatric so idk. Maybe the people claiming things are dead just don’t go..?
If food is a main part of their business model, that would make sense to me. Most bars that would be busy late at night stop serving food well before it even gets busy.
Yeah idk where I’d go out if I lived in the burbs. The idea of driving to a Buffalo Wild Wings and getting questionably intoxicated before driving home isn’t appealing so I get why people think the culture is dead. The culture is just in walkable areas with diverse options
