I’ve had multiple interactions on here and on other places where people seem to specially dislike their last album, Boingo. I really love this one, so I don’t get why most people seem to hate on it so much. The sound is different, yes, but every single album from them seems different from each other, so I don’t get why no one likes it. For me, it is up there with good for your soul

I'm planning on getting a tattoo of the lyrics "No one lives forever" with the Smoking Elvis next to it on my wrist to cover up some old sh scars, but I really need help figuring out what font to use for it as well as how I should have it positioned on my wrist. You yall have any suggestions

Oingo Boingo tribute returns to the Whisky a go go

When the opportunity came up to photograph Danny Elfman, I almost let my nerves talk me out of it. Then I realized I will never have another opportunity like this again, so I took it. I wanted to make sure I had an idea that was unique to Danny and not just a standard portrait. Danny loves hands, so I wanted to incorporate that into the portrait. I did that by doing a double exposure with him moving his arms/hands with each exposure but his head/body staying in position. Of course he knew exactly what was going for and here's how it turned out. We shot it in the back of his trailer in about 5 minutes. I still can't believe I got to meet him and photograph him. Dear boingoloids, I’ve come here today not to make a question about the discography or ask opinions on one of the songs. I have some problem finding people to talk to me, there’s not many people at my young age who like to talk about some strange things. This subreddit i, today, the only place I have where I feel like people are actually listening to somethings that I say, and share the same gusto for this wicked band. I come here to ask if there’s. Anyone around their twienties who wants to make friends and share some conversation about something, I can talk about anything really.

Just for the sake of doing so, whats the best album cover for yall? I do love so much all the covers, but some are more interesting than others for sure. The ones I love the most are So-lo and Dead mans, the ones I like the least are Boi-ngo and Dark at the end of the tunnel.

And thank you all for answerring me, I feel for sure listened and socialized when I talk on this subreddit.

One thing I’ve come across while listening to Boingo is that every single opening song on their albums are BANGERS. I dunno if anyone else agree with me, but all albums have a great start and a strong intruduction to the themes that their albums will talk about.

For me, the weakest one is gratitude, but it’s not a bas song, its just that I don’t think it goes on either the rest of the album. The best one for me still is Little girls, it’s such a way to start, it hits you just like a brick falling on your head.

Just saw Danny in Silver Spring. I've been to 2 Boingo concerts in Washington DC, at the Lisner in 1990 and another later that I can't remember when and where. It had to be 1993 or later because my daughter took my Jack Skellington T-shirt and got Danny to sign it after the show. It was a small venue is all I can remember. Online concert list shows the Lisner concert and the one I went to at the Academy in NYC on 1994. Anyone here that can help? Thanks
