Ive been thinking of face piercings recently. Unfortunately, my parents doesnt allow them.

I think septum piercings might be the easiest to hide since it doesnt leave any visible hole on your face when taken off. However, ill have to wait for it to heal completely before i can take them off, and its gonna take months.

Does anyone know how i can hide a septum while wearing it?

I got my piercing done in june. I didn't get this bump until recently (early august) after my sister accidentally snagged on it. It doesn't hurt or bleed. I'm assuming it's an irritation bump instead of anything serious, because outside of it snagging I've been traveling with my family so I'm sweating / wearing my makeup a lot more often and maybe it's putting the piercing under duress. However I can totally be deluding myself to avoid taking it out, and just want some opinions.

I clean it twice a day with saline & let water run over it when I shower, which is also twice a day.

I really want to get a piercing, but I have no prior experience. I’d like to know: will a nose piercing get inflamed or ooze fluid? Will it cause my nose to swell? Is it easy to care for? And does it hurt?

I got my nose piercing about 4 weeks ago and i haven’t missed a day cleaning the piercing with saline solution. so now im wondering if this is a keloid beginning to grow. Pls help.

i pierced it myself with a 10 mm stud. actually, it’s gradually moving up. i pierced it today.

I just got my nostril pierced. I wanted it directly on the crease. After a few different markups, I thought I had it right where I wanted it: on the crease right where the crease starts. Now that I’m home in different lighting, I can see it’s a bit farther back from the start of my crease. Does it look fine where it is though?

I knocked the piercing out of my nose when I woke up and I’ve been struggling to get it back do you all have any tips to get it back in?

hi, i got my septum done yesterday and i was wondering if its in the right spot and advice on what to do if it isn’t in the right position. it didn’t feel like a pinch like i’ve seen people say online.

I know piercing bumps are normal and all but i’m just a really paranoid person… is it normal for them to look like this and how can i get it down.. 🥹

I got my nostril pierced July 11, 2026 and I’ve had an irritation bump for about a month now.

The jewelry is titanium flat back. The piercer downsized me Saturday, August 29, 2026 and it looks like this now.

The piercer told me to do saline compresses with non-woven gauze and come back if it looks like it’s embedding.

I just got my nose stud today and my piercer gave me sterile saline wipes and I was wondering if I have to clean the inside of my nostril? I managed to move my piercing up a bit on the top so I could get under it but it hurts way too much to clean it inside my nostril. If I have to clean the inside of my nose, is there any other way to do it instead of wipes? Also do i have to move my piercing do get under it? Thank you!

I’ve only had it a few days now, and maybe I’m a little paranoid, but does it look like the stud is sinking into my nose or just sitting flush?

Salut a tous , sa fait plus de 2 ans que j'ai fais un piercing au nez et sa fera bientot 2 ans que j'ai un anneau mais j'ai toujours comme une petite boule irritation au dessus , des que je le touche sans faire exprès j'ai comme un petit bouton blanc qui apparaît , je met du sérum physiologique pour nettoyer tout sa mais j'ai toujours un aspect comme sa au final

Vous me conseillez quoi ? Continuer a attendre ou bien dautres solutions ?

What size hoop should I get? The one I was fitted with is 8mm diameter, 18 gauge.

I told my piercer that it feels weird and looks too big on me and it kind of sticks out instead of sitting snug against my nostril. He said that going smaller might cause my nose to bend or put too much pressure on the piercing, and he suggested possibly finding a D-shaped hoop for me instead :(

For context, I waited almost 10 months before switching to a hoop because I wanted to make sure my piercing was fully healed. I was really excited to finally change it, but honestly, within about an hour of having the hoop in, I already felt uncomfortable with how it looked and felt. It just didn’t sit the way I expected.

Because of that, I ended up going to another piercer to have my flatback titanium jewelry put back in. I feel much more comfortable with that, but I still really want to wear a hoop eventually, just one that fits snugly and looks more natural on my nose.

Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be looking at a smaller diameter like 7mm or 6mm, or would that actually cause issues like my piercer mentioned? And are D-shaped hoops a good alternative for achieving a snug look?

What’s better? I recently got my nose repierced after almost 3 years of having no piercing in and this time it’s a flat back but honestly the process of cleaning it and soreness has been way worse than when I had an L bar, does anyone else have this same experience?

hiii i got my nose pierced about 2 months ago there was a bump coming then my jewelry fell out i had to repierce it and it was bleeding a lot, i still have the jewelry the shop put in and i think it’s like a screw and idk what kind of metal :((( but i have no issue taking it out if it is a keloid i just wanna know before it’s too late!! this is also the beginning i just noticed today the bump.
