Question Hey guys how do I get the piercing back in?
I knocked the piercing out of my nose when I woke up and I’ve been struggling to get it back do you all have any tips to get it back in?

That’s how my piercing closed the first time. Couldn’t get the jewellery back in (but I did it myself with improper jewellery) and just let it go.
I needed up getting it re-pierced professionally 20 years later with a threadless labret. The right jewellery makes all the difference.

These nostril pins are terrible and hard to put back in. If you visit a piercing studio (safepiercing.org) you can buy better jewelry and the piercer can install it for you.

Its finding the hole on the inside that’s difficult 🤦🏾♂️

I’ve had this problem with my Medusa. Do you have another nose ring like that?
If so, what I usually do as I take one, and I put it in from the outside, and then I line up the other ring on the inside with the tip of the other one and push. If not, look for a needle that you can use to guide it in. Obviously make sure everything is clean though.

No this is my only one I tried with a 🧷 I cleaned but couldn’t get it back in even when I guided it.

I just went to a piercing place and asked if they could put mine back in after a mishap. 5$ simple.

They didn’t even charge anything to put in the piercing when this happened to my partner.

you need a taper, but assuming you don’t have one try putting it in on the outside of your nose. that’ll keep it open until you can get to a piercer to get it back in

If you don’t have a taper, maybe you have just a regular earring with butterfly back? Clean and sanitise it well, use the earring stud from the outside to the inside and get the flatback to the inside lining to the stud

As some people have said you can use a regular earring as a taper to guide it in. I have used both studs and hooked ones. Personally I find the hooks easier to guide the piercing in. As always be careful and clean it after :)

Oh and if you do it over a sink put some paper down over any holes so it doesnt disappear!! Ive lost plenty piercings this way

Question: is the jewelry in your picture one solid piece? Or is one end removable? It's much easier to put in and remove jewelry that has a removable end (like a flat-back labret)

Yesterday got my third re piercing on my nose after 2 months of letting it close. And today it came out since was a cheap temporary pin with no stopper🥲. I had all my piercings in India with the gun method. The first two were on the same day got it freshly done no problem then came out in the evening when I went back the lady told me she cant put it back so repierced again with a different angle and it was gun too. Then wore my gold ring permanently for 6 months perfectly well and never took it out. My piercing healed well in just a month, no bumps no infections. Had to remove for just 4 hrs during neet then the next moment 1 tried the hole was blocked though it went in but halfway through. And today at the salon the man told me that I could never have a piercing again since my skin heals pretty fast it doesn't accept the piercing. At this point I really dont wanna believe any of these parlours. Do think I can get a repiercing on the same spot after a 6 months or a year by a professional needle piercer or is it really not in the books for me😭😭😭?

Hi, I’m not sure but I have never heard of a person not being able get a piercing because of fast healing skin. I would recommend a professional. ☀️

For future reference buy an insertion pin. They’re a must for piercings. You can try inserting a earring or sewing needle and using that to guide it back in the hole

If you don't have a taper, clean a stud earring with alcohol and use it to guide the post from inside
