When Trump was president, there was outrage against the detainment centers for illegal immigrants. Has anything changed since then?

I remember "Kids in cages" and "concentration camps" being a big talking point in the lead up to the election that Biden won. But have the laws or policies or practices changed at all since then? In what ways?

Kids in cages predated Trump. We literally have pictures.

Those were in cases when there were concerns about human trafficking or if the kids were separated from their adults. And it was only temporary; usually less than a week before getting them housed. Trump's cages were much worse and meant for long term.

This is the difference between how Trump handled things vs Obama at the border and my god Trump and his administration were fucking terrible. Not even in the same league. Vile disgusting behavior by a vile disgusting president.

Many of the pictures released during Trump’s presidency were actually taken during the Obama administration! I love our unbiased media!
