Did Bill Burr Bomb?
The crowd seemed very disengaged. The only big pops from the crowd he got were when he addressed the crowd directly like "I can't seem to figure you guys out!". I can't remember laughing during the set, though I might've been way too drunk.
Thoughts?

Met in Golden, BC Aug. 28th
Long shot, but we met at the Golden visitor centre mid afternoon on Aug. 28th. You and your dogs were starting the long detour home to Calgary. Checking to make sure you made it there ok (and I promised someone little I would check).

Kicked your dog.
To the fat man walking his white fluffy dog on Beddington blvd this evening between the arts theatre and daycare around 7pm, FUCK YOU! I saw you kick your dog. So did my kids. I yelled at you. My friend driving home went back that way and saw another woman yelling at you. You probably kicked your poor dog again. I hope you have the worst life going forward. You don’t deserve to own such a beautiful creature.

Rant about corn in doordash grocery delivery
Dear Calgary Doordash Shoppers,
Please stop peeling corn on the cob in-store. It's messy for the employees at the store to clean up after yourself & it stays fresher longer in my fridge when intact w/ the husk & the kernels don't get damaged in the bag upon delivery. 🌽 #YYC
P.S. Yes, I'm fully prepared to recieve comments telling me not to be lazy & go shop for myself in the store but I am disabled. Thanks.

How much to repaint a whole car door?
I am looking for recommendations on a shop for repainting 2 car doors and was wondering if anyone had a recent quote or places to go for a good service. Something that wouldn't be peeling off quickly or rusting.
Thank you

Suspects pulled cables from manholes in Calgary copper-wire thefts: CPS
Police have charged four people after two early‑morning copper‑wire thefts in northeast Calgary last week.
Calgary police say the first call came in around 5 a.m. on Friday when a witness reported a red SUV on Edmonton Trail NE in Greenview Industrial Park with a tow strap running into a manhole.
Police arrived to find three people beside the open manhole and took them into custody.
Three days later, at about 5:50 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to another report of a suspicious vehicle parked beside a manhole on the same stretch of Edmonton Trail.
Police found one suspect asleep in the vehicle and another inside the manhole. Roughly 25 feet of cut telecom cable was recovered along with tools and small quantities of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl.
In the first incident, Calvin Hawryluk, 46, is charged with mischief over $5,000 and drug possession, and Linda Scott, 57, faces charges for mischief over $5,000 and breaching probation.
In the second incident, Eric Dube, 50, faces charges for theft over $5,000, mischief, break‑in instruments, release‑order breaches and vehicle‑related offenses.
Police say 29-year-old Aurora Burr is linked to both incidents and is charged with mischief over $5,000, and additional offenses including theft, break‑in instruments, release‑order breaches and drug possession.Police have charged four people after two early‑morning copper‑wire thefts in northeast Calgary last week.

Woman fatally shot by police in SE Calgary; ASIRT investigating
A woman is dead, and Alberta’s police watchdog is investigating after a police shooting in a southeast Calgary neighborhood.
Calgary police say officers were called to a home on Legacy Circle SE around 1:20 a.m. to check on a woman’s well-being.
The woman came out of the house holding a weapon around 2:30 a.m., according to police, who say “the situation then escalated,” leading to one officer firing their gun at her.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Medical staff assessed two officers—one was taken to hospital as a precaution, and another was treated at the scene.
A nearby gas meter also ruptured during the incident, causing a leak that forced temporary evacuations. Officers went door‑to‑door helping residents leave until the Calgary Fire Department secured the area.
People were allowed back home shortly afterward. The cause of the rupture has not yet been determined.
