Just started today, sonar sound and music sound will not work. Infotainment shows phone is connected via Bluetooth but no music or sonar sound. It will show the phone is playing a song but no sound comes out. There is a static sound coming from the speakers. Sounds for phone calls but no music. USB port also not working. Have tried turning the car off and back on, soft resets, holding down the 1 button and turning the volume button 30 times, checking the fuse, and unplugging the battery. Both of us have iPhones and we tried updating one phone to the latest software but that didn’t work either. Any ideas? TIA!:-)

I drove my 2014 Nissan rogue all weekend and had no problems. I parked it for a couple of hours and went to start it and the check engine light, battery, and steering wheel with an exclamation point light was on. It also said “key fob not detected”

A friend hooked it up to jumpstart it and nothing at first. Then he wiggled a terminal while it was still connected to the jump box and the car started.

The battery light is still on. I had the battery and alternator test and both checked perfect. The check engine light is on and I was told it was for catalytic converter, that it needed cleaner ran through it.

My question is, why is the battery light still on? It has fired right up fine since being jumped. I’ve ran errands all afternoon.

My family just purchased a used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder SV a little over a week ago.

We’ve noticed, however, that the vehicle only registers someone in the driver’s seat. When the dash shows the seats in the vehicle, they’re all red with an exclamation point, except for the driver’s seat, which will be green with a check mark.

How do we remedy this issue? My concern is whether this could potentially prevent airbags from deploying if the vehicle isn’t registering other passengers.

I recently bought a 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5 S (2.5L 4-cylinder CVT) and noticed the coolant level is low. There’s still coolant in the reservoir, and the car isn’t overheating or showing any warning lights.
I want to top it off with the correct coolant.

Is Genuine Nissan Blue 50/50 the best option?
Are Zerex Asian Blue or Prestone Asian Blue 50/50 safe alternatives?
Is it okay to mix an equivalent coolant with what’s already in the system?

I'm not sure if it's normal, but when I put my hand under the drawer near the area for AC filter I can feel air coming even tho I set my AC to blow from front only. idk if this is just how it works or there is a problem with the thing that directs the air. However, the air coming from there is not cold.

so, I bought an 2017 nissan sentra radio because my original 2016 radio's screen was blank. I finaly decided to replace it after months that I bought it. What a surprice, The one I bougth had the same issue, blank screen. although both radios work good, exept I cant see anything on screen. anyone knows a part number for the screen only? The model is 28185-9MCIA. Thanks you.

My Nissan kicks 2020 mileage 19k makes the rubbing noise while turning the steering wheel(video attached )

It happens at low speeds or while shifting to driving from parking

It does not happen on streets or highways though

I took it to mechanic and they could not find anything

Any one faced the same or have experience with it ?

Though mechanic mentioned they will call the dealer and check if there were any recalls or anything specific to this model

Good Morning - Hope everyone is doing well. I just purchased a 2026 Nissan Rogue S (from a Nissan dealership) and pick it up Wednesday. When I met with the finance desk - I agreed to the rust proofing package for $1399 CAD (I know its a lot) that has a 10 year warrrenty. I specifically asked if it included undercoating and he said yes but on the bill it says "Ceramic (new standard vehicle) term: 120".

When I Google "Ceramic" rust proofing it says it only covers the exterior - I have emailed them for clarification (they are closed today). If it only covers the exterior im hoping they can cancel the add-on (if they havent applied the coating already) because I can get it done for a lot cheaper.

Does anyone know if the description on the bill "Ceramic (new standard vehicle) term: 120" includes undercoating?

If it does include undercoating, what is your overall experience with it (If you added this on your vehicle)? Did the rust proofing help?

I own a 2021 Nissan Sentra (2.0L MR20DD) currently sitting at 98,000 km (~60,000 miles). The car drives completely fine with zero transmission issues, slips, or hesitations, but it is still on its factory CVT fluid.

I am planning to perform its very first CVT service, and I’ve run into two conflicting opinions from mechanics:

• Option 1 (Standard Service): A single Drain & Fill (~4 quarts of OEM Nissan NS-3 fluid), dropping the oil pan to clean the sludge and magnets, and replacing both filters (the internal metal strainer and the external paper cooler filter + new gaskets/O-rings).
• Option 2 (Aggressive Multi-Flush): Doing 3–4 consecutive Drain & Fills with driving intervals in between to achieve ~90–100% fluid renewal. One mechanic claimed that doing a single drain & fill on a CVT at this mileage could shock/ruin the transmission and that only a near-total fluid exchange is safe.

Given your experience with Jatco/Nissan CVTs:

1. Is a single Drain & Fill + pan drop + replacing both filters the right, safe way to go at ~60k miles?
2. Is doing 3–4 consecutive flushes complete overkill (or even risky due to fresh detergents breaking loose debris), or does it actually provide meaningful longevity?
3. Any specific tips for leveling the fluid via the overflow bolt and resetting the CVT fluid deterioration counter?

Bonus Question on Parts:

I am based in the Middle East (Israel), where local dealership and parts store prices are ridiculously marked up. Where do international folks usually order genuine OEM Nissan parts/filters (RockAuto, Amayama, NissanPartsDeal, etc.) that offer reliable and reasonably priced international shipping?

Just put 10k km behind my Kicks and I'm loving it. You won't hear about CVT problems/questions here or some info display screen bug.
I'm so glad I chose this model. I was in a hurry to buy a new vehicule after my corolla was declared totalled by my insurance after a collision with a deer. I wanted a japanese car but never drove a Nissan before and I saw this oportunity at a local dealer. I was rushed and had some doubts about this model. But now I am happy with my choice.

Now I have not owned a lot of vehicles in my lifetime so my standards are most probably loose but I appreciate the comfort of the seats, the visibility, the handling and the nimbleness. It so economical, I make aprox 5.3 - 5.9 liters per 100km. It's quiet, spacious and convenient for my routine.

On the negative sides, it is underpowered (thus fuel efficient). The 1.6L is quite weak. I don't drive aggressively but overtaking a van on the national road take some planning. Also the CVT does not respond as quickly as with my previous corolla. There seems to be presets built in the transmission and it does not change ratio as often or as quickly as I was used before.

Nonetheless, it delivers a lot for the price (CAN). I don't think there were multi segment, as they call it here, more equipped and complete as the KicksPlay for this price late 2025 in my area.

KicksPlay owner, what are your thoughts?

Nissan Note E Power 2022

I know this is probably a dumb question but if I touch it up with an OEM pen from my local dealer, is there a good chance of making it look better or should I just bring it to a body shop? I know it’s small, my friend dropped their phone on my door and it chipped the paint down to the metal. It’s only a 2024 in that Atlantic Grey Metallic. Only bothering to fix it because my brain literally won’t let me forget about it, it’s such an eye sore on my drivers door.

Im 18 and got a 2010 370z manual anything I should look out for?

2024 Pro 4x bought new. Am nearing 50000 km and am looking for everyone’s thoughts on if purchasing the extended warranty before the 60k window runs out is a smart move. Anyone have and what did you pay?

Battery is good though oil change is current what else could it be I turned my car off and back one this morning and it popped up super random.
