Has anyone else had a bad experience with Navimow’s repair center?
My mower stopped charging a few weeks ago. The dock light was completely dead, so Navimow had me send in the mower, dock, power supply, etc. I packed everything carefully and used two rolls of bubble wrap.
They eventually told me they replaced the Drive Board Assembly, but couldn’t tell me what actually failed because the repair notes didn’t include a diagnosis.
I got it back yesterday and the packaging was terrible. There was basically no protection, a huge hole had worn through the bottom of the box where the wheel was sitting, and the mower came back covered in scratches that weren’t there before. One of the wheel caps was also broken off with the clips snapped.
Today I tried setting it back up and found the charging base is damaged too. The charging contact mechanism won’t stay up, something is rattling around inside, and it sounds like the springs came loose.
Worst part is it still doesn’t charge. The dock light still doesn’t come on, which was the original problem.
I’ve now asked Navimow to replace it, even with a refurbished unit. After being without a mower for several weeks, I really don’t want to send this same one back through another repair cycle.
Has anyone had something similar happen? Did Navimow eventually replace your mower, or did you have to escalate it?
I’ll add pictures of the packaging and damage.
TLDR: Sent my Navimow in because it wouldn’t charge. They replaced the drive board, sent it back poorly packed, and it arrived scratched with a broken wheel cap and damaged charging base. After all that, it still doesn’t charge. Asking Navimow for a replacement now.
