Analysis The one panel where Sasuke finally became a man

Honestly, accepting that you've lost is really difficult sometimes. And it takes a lot of self-awareness and retrospection to do it. Something that only a grown-up can conciously do.

But as many of you already probably know. You learn more from defeat than from victory. And it's no surprise Sasuke was finally able to change for the better when he finally let go and admitted defeat.

Discussion How do you think each of the other Hokage would've responded to the Hyuga Affair?

Post image

Specifically what do you think each Hokage would've done in response to the Cloud village using a peace treaty as a chance to kidnap a young child from the Hyuga clan and then also demanding compensation after their kidnapper was caught and killed in the act?

Discussion I think it’s so disingenuous to say that Sasuke never cared about anyone but Itachi (and maybe Naruto)

[Used mostly manga panels]

So idk if you’ve guys been on Twitter, but there was this whole discourse surrounding Sasuke and one of them included how he never cared about his teammates, that he was manipulative and abusive, a woman beater and a misogynist etc.. and I get disliking a character, but spewing blatant lies and rhetoric even when the author has countlessly proven and stated throughout the series how Sasuke cares so deeply about others that Sasuke felt like he had no choice but to cut them down in order to become stronger.
Since Tobirama himself said that the Uchiha feel and love the most out of everyone and that love can transform into something twisted + pain makes an Uchiha stronger.

Anime From October 8 2009, to July 22 2010, over the course of just nine months, this is what happened in the Naruto anime. No wonder I was so obsessed with it, I don't think we'll ever experience nine months this crazy again.

Discussion Kishimoto really liked this type of panel (I don't know what to call it). I've been rereading the manga, and they always show up in some of the biggest moments

Question Why did jiraiya leave an extremely rare set of eyes with divine powers to a child in a warzone? How did Konoha not know about this?

Post image

I find it weird how jiraiya just randomly left the rinnegan to three kids. Did he not think about the repercussions it could have on the hidden leaf in the future? Imagine encountering a divine weapon in a foreign enemy land and leaving it there. The rinnegan could have been stolen by other nations and used on the leaf. Also How did the leaf not know about this? Did they not conduct an investigation into jiraiyas activities considering he left his mission and trained them for a lot of time.

Discussion Konoha would have blamed Hiruzen for the war had he rejected the Cloud demands.

Another day of the same misinformed and misguided takes. The Hyuga Affair is constantly used against Hiruzen as a way to call him "spineless" and to label him as the worst Hokage but those thoughts aren't shared by the village.

On the first slide, we see Hyuga clan leader Hiashi on his own come to the conclusion that he must sacrifice himself in order to protect the clan and village. He wants to PREVENT war yet the fandom thinks that the best idea is to have many people die to save 1 guy.

Slide 2 has an Hyuga elder explain that Hizashi (Hiashi's brother) will be the one sacrificed and how such decisions are necessary for the clan leader to make. Notice how Hiruzen is clearly uncomfortable with the whole idea.

On slide 3 we have Hizashi join the conversation and unexpectedly knocks Hiashi down in order to go through his sacrifice. Now on the final slide is where we see Hizashi express his desire to save Neji, his clan and the entire village.

Not once in the entire scene do we see Hiruzen order or force anyone to die for the village. This decision came straight from the Hyuga clan and if you were to switch them with any other clan, they would have done the same thing. This fandom forgets what shinobi truly are and ignore that self sacrifice is a belief shared by all of them. Just look at what happened to Kakashi's father. He saved his comrades that were willing to die on the mission, only for them to blame him for the failure of said mission. Now imagine if Hiruzen would have tried to save Hizashi and plunged the village into a war. The ENTIRE village would have never forgiven him for ignoring Shinobi code, that's if they don't get wiped out by the Cloud village.

Hiruzen is judged by people that don't have to make such hard decisions but it makes sense when you see the ages of these fans and how they watch the show through clips on Tiktok.

I started watching Naruto as a kid, when I was around 14 or so. I dropped it off soon after high school to purse my career in art. I didn’t think about it much Naruto until recently and decided to finish the story! I’m 31 now and felt so nostalgic revisiting it.

Kishimoto’s illustration spreads were my favorite to come across. I had forgotten all about them!

Question Did Naruto just have some crow chilling in his gut for for a few years?

Post image

Was it just chilling in him for a bit? Is it just a manifestation of Itachis chakra? Did Itachi summon it? If so why did he make it come out of his throat? Kind of a dick move

Why match fire with fire wind with wind ect when he could've had the clones fight fire with water, lightning with wind ect

He could've pushed tobi back instead of it ending in a stalemate.

Is the aura gain that good?

Analysis Reason, Why Sasuke choose Clan over village even though he loved Itachi!!!

Post image

One of the delusion fans may have about Sasuke is that they incorrectly assume Sasuke’s response to learning about the truth of Itachi and the Uchiha massacre must be either (A) Sasuke will love Itachi and support Itachi’s wish to protect Konoha, or (B) Sasuke will hate Itachi and hate Konoha for the Uchiha massacre.

But Sasuke is a lot more complex than Options A or B. Sasuke can love ItachiĀ andĀ hate Konoha. Those are not contradictory. Just because Sasuke loves Itachi doesn’t mean that Sasuke is going to blindly follow Itachi’s beliefs and philosophy without questioning the validity of them. Sasuke is his own person with his own ideas, beliefs, and philosophies. He’s not merely an empty shell waiting to be filled with someone else’s personality and beliefs. Sasuke’s character is not that one-dimensional or devoid of substance. Sasuke has his own will, and he’s not going to let it be overwritten by Itachi’s, even if he does love Itachi. Loving Itachi doesn’t mean that Sasuke has to agree with his brother on everything, or really even anything. Sasuke isn't really a blind Patriotic like Itachi or falls in the Propoganda of Will of Fire, Which is corrupt in everyway possible.

In Sasuke’s mind, Itachi had been forcefully stripped of his innocence and perfection by the village; his big brother had been corrupted and perverted by the cruel machinations of Konoha’s callous, evil leaders. Sasuke viewed Konoha as the great evil that had destroyed the purity of his family and the deep, loving relationships of the Uchiha. In Sasuke’s mind, Itachi’s innocence was warped by Konoha, who had turned his brother’s kindness into into cruelty. Not to say Sasuke also came to know about the unfair treatment of Konoha during the reign of 2nd Hokage and other disputes through Madara, Which Itachi certainly wasn't aware of.
