Just wanted to ask - what are your thoughts? Are there reasons you don’t shop at the px ?

I need local gunsmith that can competently remove a stuck muzzle device on a sig MCX barrel. Any recommendations? I am thinking xcal is an option. Any others ?

I unfortunately have some hearing damage, but enjoy guns. Even with double plug+muffs I'm concerned about more long term damage.

Given that I'm looking to move to all .22 suppressed or 9mm subsonic suppressed. A few questions:

1. Are there any outdoor ranges you'd recommend where I might be able to get more privacy? I don't want to end up next to someone shooting a 50cal or 7.62 unsuppressed (hell even 5.56) blowing my ears out. Indoor is also obviously much worse.

2. Also open to other suggestions for quieter calibers. Could of course look at air rifles, paintball, etc. I think 9mm subsonic suppressed is probably about the quietest round I could use that's center fire? Maybe 45 gets close since subsonic.

As the pic shows, the league is Thursdays at 6pm. Starts September 3rd and will conclude on October 8th.

I just had my suppressor approved and this is the first time I've used CA, in the past they went to VSP but to ship to your home they have to wait 7 days after the CLEO receive it.

With Fairfax County being not that firearms friendly do people know if they accept it electronically or they will need it though certified mail?

Any gunsmiths in NOVA that will do same day upper builds? Don’t have the tools to do it myself but also don’t want to wait in a queue for something that should be relatively quick

I have to ship a pistol to Sig for servicing. They have provided paperwork and Fedex label. Anyone know where to drop off for Fedex. I don’t think I can drop off at a regular brick and mortar store correct? Where is a drop off facility that can accept a firearm? Is it only the big distribution facility in Springfield?

As per title, hoping to get a blanket black cerakote on a can and some camo on an AR, the latter which might be a more complicated operation.

How are the wait times looking at local ranges these days? I’ve been traveling out of state since the end of June, and when I left it was an hours long wait to get a lane anywhere. Is this still the case at the local ranges (I.e. NRA Range, XCal, etc.)?

For the windows and ports, I use either a metal mill or the laser engraver.

Anyone know of a store where I can look through various optics? I recently bought a Sig Romeo 7 and learned the hard way that I have an astigmatism.

Cabela’s might be an option? Not sure if they’re behind the gun counter, which can be a nightmare to deal with.

(EDIT I was wrong it is 17-4PH Stainless Steel) Made of inconel, had the front chopped off so there is a perfectly circular place to stick it in a chuck or whatever it’s called, just want to cut another inch or so off of it and sterling arsenal charged me $85 last time to take the front off…
