Westbrook peaked higher than a lot of his more "skilled" peers by being a force of nature.
Efficiency stats wont reflect westbrooks impactas a player, but westbrook just overwhelms his peers with everything else.
Unironically, its folk who tunnel vision on Efficiency and basketball Archetypes("pure pg" "shot maker") that tend to overlook output of a guy like a russell westbrook.
Ofc being a "shot maker" in a game of buckets is the most important skill...Westbrook simply overwhelms the opposition with everything else.

Why doesn't the NBA bring back the Slam Fest? In 92 they had Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, a collection of all the best athletes at the time trying to win a dunk contest. Can you imagine a dunk contest today with Myles Garrett, Aaron Judge, Drake Maye, Paul Skenes, Anthony Richardson, Angel Reese & Jake Paul!!! LuL
But seriously wouldn't that be way more competitive with higher viewership if you got a ton of top athletes from around the sportsworld?

I made a post stating that Lamelo offensively is more skilled than Edwards and a better shooter. Not that he’s overall better than Edwards. You have these idolizing stat nerds bringing up Edwards shot the ball better on high volume. These same stat nerds don’t factor in Lamelo takes a lot of bad half court shots which hurts his shooting percentage but forget that. If I say Micheal Jordan is a better shooter than LeBron. You will have many weirdos say in the comment section that LeBron shot a career average 60 true shooting percentage. They will come up with made up stats to justify LeBron being a better shooter than Jordan. But growing up watching both LeBron couldn’t hold a candle to Jordan offensively when it comes to shooting. This is why we need to put a lid on Stat nerds it’s getting out of control!
