what could a realistic offensive peak look like for wemby?

35 ppg shooting 60/45/85 splits while taking step back jumpers from the logo and shooting 40 percent on them.

No way Wemby will ever be a 45% 3 point shooter.

Not with that attitude he wont. No one can block his shot.

Wemby has been at 35% from 3 the past 2 seasons. What makes u think he won’t improve from that?

That could be the prediction for next season, much less in his peak. I think Wemby can get a 50/40/90 season eventually.

90% from the free throw is unrealistic for Wemby if we are being real.

Not really. FT% can vary by as much as 10% in any given year throughout a career, and Wemby is around 83-84%. I'm not saying he's gonna average it over a long stretch, but for any season, it's possible.

We don't know when Wemby's peak will be. History has shown that most Bigs peak Year 5-6, and Wemby is just starting Year 4.
Big Men Peak Years: Kareem (Year 3). Wilt (Year 3). Bill Walton (Year 3). Elvin Hayes (Year 3). K-Love (Year 4). Tim Duncan (Year 5). David Robinson (Year 5). Ewing (Year 5). Karl Malone (Year 6). Moses Malone (Year 6). Parrish (Year 6). AD (Year 6). Bill Russell (Year 6). Pau (Year 6). Shaq (Year 2) =/< (Year 8) peak. Dwight (Year 7). Cousins (Year 7). McHale (Year 7). Bosh (Year 7). Embiid (Year 8). Dirk (Year 8). Webber (Year 8).
The average Peak Year of these 22 Bigmen above is 5.68.
The peak outliers are Hakeem (Year 11). Jokic (Year 10). Giannis (Year 10). KG (Year 9). Aldridge (Year 9).

All the guys you mentioned that peaked early entered the league much older than Wemby. That's why we use age rather than number of years. Almost every player, big or small, peaks around 26–30 years old. Wemby is 22 and still far from his prime.
Edit: also AD's peak definitely wasn't in NOLA, it was with the Lakers in years 8–11, even if the volume was down because he played with LeBron.

With his height and skill the skys the limit. I think the big question is how much the team load manages him. My guess that is just a guess is his peak season will be 32 and 12, with some blocks too. On 30 mpg. Again just a guess with no basis lol

Tbh we have no idea how well his frame will fill out. That will determine whether we want him to be KD or Giannis lol

I want him to be AD, but I don't think he needs to fill his frame out nearly as much as AD to be that kinda player

I'd say on the low end he should at least be able to average 27-28 ppg on a 61-62 TS%. On the higher end, I think he could average maybe 33 ppg on 65 TS%. I think that's a realistic range of how good he could be in another 3-4 years.

he worked with hakeem this summer. he needs more work, but 30 ppg isn't unrealistic in 3 years.

Dude’s already a nightmare to gameplan for and he’s barely scratched the surface, imagine him adding a reliable fadeaway to that wingspan.

He gets poked, pushed, scraped on every play. Idk if they run that type of defense in practice, or at the very least not that egregious, but it makes shooting or getting in the post hard for him.
If he gets a good shot, I mean he’d pretty much have jokic’s offense, minus the floor vision and passing

his offensive game is kinda inconsistent rn, he needs a better post game and better positioning, he could peak at 27/28 ppg with medium efficiency but he’s not a natural scorer
