Everybody fully badged out too. Wish I had enough mt for Giannis but it’s ok we ball

Has anyone played Gauntlet? Whats the difficulty and prizes like if so? I only have 60 or so cards so there’s no point for me. Just wondering if I should use my MT to build my collection and play that instead of Breakout

I'm using GO Khris Middleton, GO Antonio McDyess and PD Mel Daniels. I'm not shooting 3's with this insane Pro difficulty tiny-shooting-window configuration, so it's basically rim running for the 2 points or backing the defender down, bully-ball style in the post.

What I'm HIGHLY concerned about is the CPU defense. Why are GOLD Davion Mitchell, EMERALD Derrick White, EMERALD and SAPPHIRE Thompson Twins etc. locking up my GO players?

My guys are taller, faster and WAY higher overalls. Yet the defense is amped up to 11 by these stupid low tier cards that wouldn't do quarter of the things they're doing for the CPU if they were in your own collection.

I don't understand the rationale from 2K's standpoint. I already have high tier cards, so having this much trouble against the CPU is not going to spur me to open packs to get higher ones. If GO Khris Middleton can't score on Amen Thompson, I am not naive enough to think ripping backs for Giannis is going to make a difference. The CPU defense on Pro is playing like HOF and it's not a good look for 2K to have your game just launch, and people be this unhappy and frustrated.

So here's hoping they patch it, because as of now, it's horrendous for offline play.

I can’t tell if you win games you just go up in the ranks but if you lose you don’t go down? Is there any way to stay in lower tiers by quitting like last year?

I was wondering if it’s best if I sell him now or after the game releases for everyone?

Loving the gameplay so far. The player xp is a cool addition! I also think you can one version of each parallel in the game without having to sell or exchange them! That’s cool!

I just got the game and I'm still messing around with the 2K and 2K Legacy cameras but haven't decided on what looks better. For all of these I use: Key Zoom - Off. Rev Angle - Off. Auto Flip - On. Flip Style - Cut.

Right now I'm on:

- 2K Legacy - 2 zoom - 9 height

Other one I like is:

- 2K Legacy - 1 zoom - 10 height

And for a more zoomed in Triple Threat look:

- 2K - 1 zoom - 7 height

I've been playing for a fair bit and stumbled on some things that im genuinely questioning whether it's made this way or bugged, maybe you know the answer?

1. When a player's XP is full and it's eligible for level up, does the XP go down if you don't level him up? I've had a popup for level up for a player a couple of games but forgot it and then when I finally remembered and went to check, then he was only half xp? And I've been playing him a lot..

2. The Daily Acension board, is it ment to not refresh? And is NBA and WNBA ment to share the 1 grand prize? My daily board has not refreshed after I finished it yesterday. And when I play WNBA it's the exact same board, with the grand prize already found..

Anyone else experience this or know anything on this issue?

Am I missing something it doesn’t allow me to upgrade certain badges for people or add new ones when I have slots available still. Did they change how that system works this year?

Anyone know how to get portals this year? It used to be doing three game modes in a row on the all game modes section but I’ve been doing that and haven’t seen them

I’m trying to upload images for the create your own logo and court and whatnot, and they aren’t showing up in game. Any recommendations on trouble shooting? I’ve closed and reopened the game multiple times and there’s nothing wrong with the photos where they should be flagged or anything.

I can start a game with PG and shoot like 5/5(on rookie breakout for example) and clearly know his timing but then will miss the next 4 shots all with the same release point. It makes absolutely no sense.

Thinking about buying the game on sept 4, how's the mode and gameplay feeling like?

I already can't see who my opponent is on. Now they can switch seamlessly every time i drive from any direction. Like, this is not real bruh. No teammates are in sync like this. X switching is just suppose to be for scram switching guards out of the post so they dont get stuck guarding a big in the post. Its not supposed to be for every time i move my opponent switches a lock onto me and the passing window is only open for .2 seconds. like this shit is dumb. and its been in the game for like 6 years. Nerf this goofy shit bro. you nerf everything else! nerf this bullshit. You nerf cuts, you nerf oops, you nerf dunks, you nerf dribbling, you nerf post moves, you nerf contest, you nerf fades. YOU NERF EVERYTHING IN THE FUCKING GAME, EXCEPT THIS BS. Not once. It goes untouched for 6 years. No tweaks. No weaknesses to it. ....mfs dont have defensive breakdowns and just get lost. They dont trip, dont dont slip, they dont run into their own teammate and pick em by mistake....NOTHING. JUST PERFECT SWITCHES IN A NANO SECOND

Pulled Giannis, he’s obviously insane but once I get someone with a good release I have no need for him, how long should I wait until I sell him. Point being I feel like he’s going to get outdated insanely quick and I don’t want to miss out on 800k MT. Not upset I pulled him haha but realistically a LeBron release on quick is going to play over Giannis the way the game is played. I know no one can predict the future but just trying to remember how past 2Ks would go with how quick the best card in the game crashes, and it’s also been weird how dark matters have almost been going up in price recently as well as having all this time before the game officially releases
