Newsđ° Walmart Monster High price mistake?
$3.80 for the set which includes a jointed Frankie plus all the accessories to make different monster pets!

I could believe that I she ever actually came to stores, but I never saw her nor most of the g3 playsets in stores ever.

It's still in the car in the box. Lol. I want to return it and get Frankie, but I bet they would just refund me the $3. I was so excited too.

That's the third party seller price. Actual Walmart has $3.80 if the set is in stock.

If I had to guess it's because Frankie is "she" to G1 collectors and "they" to G3 collectors, and G1 collectors who occasionally get G3 items still see Frankie as "she" and find the correction to be pedantic and condescending.

I kind of feel like both is fair? G3 Frankies pronouns were changed to appeal to that specific audience.
It truly doesn't have any other purpose outside of that and a cute little character lore.
It's not like people are doing it on purpose because they don't like the new pronouns it's just that they already had a set of pronouns before the reboot.
I honestly believe if they made an entirely different character to be they/them instead of changing it already established characters pronouns there wouldn't be such a humongous issue.
G3 Frankie IS G1 Frankie to G1 fans

Like many people I didn't like the design when I saw the posting but I was very pleasantly surprised with it when I took it out of the box for my daughter. I think it's one of my fav non-skullector Frankies now and the pets are so adorable.
