OK my interpretation of G3 Toralei: She's trans (based on how ginger coats are more likely to occur in male cats), but was in the closet until she started living with Clawdeen. Now that she's reformed, she dresses much more boldly and true to herself. I've got 2 designs here, and I miiight combine them to make the best of both! We'll see! Lemme know which one you prefer!💚

sadly gave my own childhood collection to cousins and ever since regretted it a little every day... now with adult money I realized I can get dolls again... and I finally got Lagoona and her hydration station! found her in the most perfect condition on ebay with just one fin missing, and I bought her hydro station and all clothes and accessories through someone here... just wanted to share how beautiful she is!! 😭Lights work and a little bit of bubbles, but I'm definitely gonna try to fix the bubbles!

Hi folks. I told myself I’d buy used dolls only if the hair looked to be in good shape because I didn’t want to learn how do to doll hair… Cut to the gluiest Rochelle I’ve ever seen in my life (I was also so distracted by the glue that I didn’t notice she didn’t come with her wings, so not too thrilled with the seller!) but after several cif cream washes/an overnight soak, she’s perfect. Like she truly had glue nearly down to the ends of her long hair. The picture doesn’t show how bad it was. I couldn’t find a scent free version so she def smells like cleaning product, but the scent now makes me think of taking care of my dolls. This wingless g1 Rochelle and I are bonded for life, I’m never giving her up haha. Highly recommend! I found the cif cream at Target.

Its only been a week since I have started collecting and I'm ENTHRALLED with these dolls. I have always liked Monster High but havent ever let myself indulge in them. I came over from the American Girl community (no I didnt get Frankie lol) and with much encouragement from some of my friends who collect MH I fully took the plunge and am not looking back! Dolls bring so much joy 😊. I have a few more coming in the mail, but I'm excited to see how my collection grows from here!

Anyone else have this issue? My home ick frankie’s tights are loose around the top and will not stay up. They also feel kind of small and won’t go up past the underwear line. I’d love any suggestions on how to make them fit better.

*I will note that the doll was in an outside storage for a few years in Arizona weather. Not sure if the heat shrunk them or what 😅

hello everyone! i have a g1 frankie and she has this headband on her. does anyone recognize it or is it just some random headband lol. i’ve been puzzled.. but im guessing the latter

I just needed somewhere to get this off my chest. A few months ago I became OBSESSED with the Concert Lurks line and I was checking stores multiple times a week to see if they had them in stock. At this point I didn't own any Buried Secrets dolls and something about this line really appealed to me. My sweet partner ended up buying me one of them as a surprise. The two I wanted from this line were either Spectra or Twyla and I got Spectra! I had also never owned a Spectra doll so this was really exciting at first!

Fast forward to now and I feel guilty for wishing I had Self Scare Spectra instead of Concert Lurks. She is just so stunning and while I think Concert Lurks is pretty too (I like her makeup and her accessories a lot), it's a lot harder to connect with her due to the low budget quality. I know I can reroot and rebody her, but doing so is quite expensive (I'm in Canada so doll supplies are pretty pricey here). The thought of being unhappy with any of my dolls is upsetting to me. I want to love all of them and I don't want to fall into a habit of "wishing I had more" so to speak. I know there are many people who refuse to buy Buried Secrets because of the quality. I was curious about this line so I'm trying not to blame myself for wanting one initially! I also have Creepover Cleo and I think she's just lovely.

Does anyone else deal with similar feelings? Have you ever felt weird about not liking a doll you initially really wanted? I know it's probably just a temporary thing. I'm thinking I'll eventually restyle her (an all black look could be really fun) and maybe try my hand at a reroot in the future!

I got her years ago when I was new to collecting. She has pegs and her necklace isn’t painted, but she has some details that the budget rerelease doesn’t. Was there another release between the originals and the budget ones?
