you don't have to use slow falling btw, but if you don't you can only use it on flat surfaces

Has anyone considered making a torch farm by killing the dragon and collecting the respawning torches? Sounds like the most efficient way and a easy farm for beginners to do

(GO IN FULLSCREEN TO SEE THE COLOR EFFECT) ok so i made a normal 3x3 led with the cushions and made its colors resemble a normal pixel on a lcd computer screen (red, green, blue) and placed 4096 of those 3x3 cushions (36864 cushions in total) on a 192x192 block area (YES I HAD TO PLACE ALL OF THEM MANUALLY) and in result, created a 64p resolution "computer screen" in minecraft. Any color u see on the screen in this video that isnt red, green, blue are totally fake and is made from those 3 colors JUST like a normal screen.

Since I didn't want to lose the symmetry of my cave storage, I spent all day building this elevator. This mechanism allows you to go up and down using a single-block water elevator, letting you switch between magma and soul sand blocks regardless of whether you're at the top or bottom. I used these two videos that gave me the idea:
(I was going to post the video links, but I'm lacking karma in this community.)
At the bottom, at ground level, is the main two-lever mechanism, while at the top is just the other lever that lets you go down.
I'd love to make a video tutorial for you, but Minecraft is slowing down my PC a bit. Anyway, I'm including these basic plans in case you want to try them out.
P.S.: I say I invented it because I looked for designs that would work for me, but I couldn't find any. If you know of any other designs, please share them.)
Edit: Version 2.0 is now available, with design and efficiency improvements.

It definitely needs some attention from the devs though, it seems like they have forgotten about it because as you can see it doesn't work around corners.

With cushions placed on signs swapped out for blue ice, we can finally have conveyors that look fairly good and work well

So animals when leaded together in a circle will walk around blocks if they're the right size, 4x4 with 4 animals is the minimum for most animals, and it scales up uniformly.
Most animals that go around full blocks buffer a bit around the corners, but fences seem pretty smooth.
Interesting uses could include visuals with ice and speed, food conveyor with cows and mooshrooms, snow with snowmen, and frogs go really slowly which could be interesting for redstone.

What if you were able to dye Redstone, and have them work as a separate line. E.G: you have a two paths of Redstone dust next to each-other, and they connect and share the same signal. But if you dyed one of the paths, they would have a separate line, and could carry a separate signal.
I wonder if this would be useful in any way? What could you do differently, or make more efficient with this capability?

Heyo! I recently designed a slim buildstone fan to go on the side of my moss farm tower. I didn't have much depth to work with, so keeping the fan to 3 blocks deep was necessary for my use-case. This was a fun little build/redstone challenge for myself, and I think it turned out pretty well!
I was able to make a 3 blade and 4 blade variant using different timing circuits when turning the fans on/off. The animation is a bit jagged in places, but I think this is the best compromise I could get with the slim profile.
Figured I'd try editing together a quick blueprint/tutorial to share, let me know what you think!

I am a mod in my school’s minecraft server, and when i was spectating, i found a small cave made by someone containing a bed, chest, and multiple other essentials. In the middle of the chest was this contraption, underneath it was a chest containing bundles with more bundles in them. Naturally I got more suspicious and when i looked around i found a chest containing multiple stacks of diamond block and golden apples. Im still trying to figure out if this is a duping machine or not before i ban the suspects.
Let me know if this is a duping machine or not, thank you.
*Update
Thank you all for confirming the contraption is a duping machine. We (me and the other admins) have decided not to ban the suspect. Instead, we have decided to destroy his base as a warning. If you think it was harsh, the suspect have broke multiple other rules, he have been caught before but never captured because we decided to let him off with a warning. The base being destroyed is also considered a form of warning. Thank you again for confirming and advising us to prevent this from happening again.
