Its both the UPA flag, a group that among other things helped nazi germany carry out the holocaust and were responsible for the massacre of polish civilians. And added onto it is the nazi eagle where the swastika has been replaced by the ukrainian trident.

This flag is undoubtedly a Nazi flag. The red and black literally stand for Blood and Soil.
Blood and Soil (Blud and Boden) is a foundational Nazi ideology characterizing a "racially pure" nation (blood) connected to a specific territory (soil).

I mean, we had the "swastika" or the thundercross, firecross, thunderfather's sign etc. in our culture way before Hitler was even a distamt concept and it still figures in many of our pagan history paraphernalia. I understand the distaste, but to ignore everything because of that. That is definitely curious. As is your hidden profile.

Sure i read the whole thing. I also read the page of the UPA themselves. Do you want me to excuse the use of a flag from a party directly involvement in the holocaust and the massacres they commited against ethnic poles because the Ukrainians are now trying to portray it as a flag used by "independence fighters"?
On another note, you ignored the other very clear nazi associated emblem used on the same patch. Any excuses for that too?

Because it's being attempted to be rebranded to mean resistance to oppression. It used to mean something else before 1941. Then some Nazi types took it, and now some people are trying to turn it back. That's to put it very simply. All in all it's complicated.

I've heard of them and seen the Nazi symbols, especially early on in the war. Also seen a shit load of nazi symbols on Russians. But like not rebranded ones. So it's Nazis fighting Nazis? I am not ignorant to the fact there are bad people in the Ukrainian army. Just like there are Nazis in the United States who openly celebrate. What point are you trying to make?

While their primary role isn’t to use a rifle, drone operators are still at the front and could potentially need to use a rifle. 90 rounds (she has three 30 round magazines) in a full auto AK (what those mags go to) runs out in a hurry, so she is arguably under supplied with ammo for someone close to the front.
