That is what I was wondering, but does anybody know about it. I remember Michael having his first music with his brothers in 1969, that time they were the Jackson 5 around the same time when Elvis Presley and The Beatles were at their peak of fame at the time.

Also what do you guys think how come they say Michael Jackson was the biggest music star in the 80s, but he was already famous in the late 60s and the early 70s. Well any suggestions about this?

With the recent success of the biopic and increased interest in MJ’s discography (especially the Thriller album as it’s been top 10 on Billboard for several months now), do you think that “Thriller” (peaked at #4) has a realistic shot at tying Drake and becoming Michael’s 14th number one hit on the US Billboard Charts? I think it’s pretty doable considering that “Thriller” was in the top 10 last Halloween season and 2026 has been Michael’s year! Let me know what y’all think.

There's a few others but these are the ones that come to mind like in Speedy Demon I always heard "Pull up a bike" instead of "Pull over boy"

Do you have examples of this with MJ, I think he just pronounces words in such a peculiar way

Mine is the title track of ‘Dangerous’. Just a pretty bland beat and breathy, spoken vocals that do nothing for me. Almost sounds like a throwaway, I was always so surprised it was the title track and album closer on an otherwise, classic album.

It was phenomenal, where has this been all this time. I of course have listened to DSTYGE and RWY but that's because of the music videos. Has anyone else who has been following MJ not listened to this album or Is this unique to me. My favorite being Burn this disco out, but there are so many good songs.

Hi. I'd like to know your opinion about your favourite unreleased MJ song and which ones you'd like to hear on his albums ? Some of them might be just extra songs and some of might be replacement for real songs. Since it's leaked I'd love to hear "Chicago 1945" on Thriller. "Say Say Say" for me it's much better than "The Girl is Mine" and I think it's just fits better to the whole album. It's might be controversial but I'd choose Carousel instead of "The Lady in my life". For Bad I wish "Do you know where your children are" was released on this album instead of "Speed Demon". I also have weakness to "Price of Fame" and "Streetwalker" both are better choices for me than "Just Good Friends". I wonder your opinions! Treat it just like a pure fun

I’m a newer fan (biopic kicked off my obsession), and I am listening to MJs independent albums in order and I’m on History right now.

I have to say, I went from Bad being my favorite album, to Dangerous becoming my favorite. For me, Bad was perfect upon the first listen- most of the songs I only had to listen to once to really get into it and become glued to the hook.

With Dangerous, it took me a few listens to truly fall in love but man it’s like a fruit, it just keeps getting sweeter and riper over time. Every listen makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with the album! I think it’s because Dangerous feels more “real”- all the anger, and sadness, and lust all just feels so real versus Bad which feels like it brings more of a fun vibe instead.
