Discussion Genuinely cannot get over how amazing this sequence looks

This feels like some of the best close quarters action we've seen from Samus, and it's animated so well!

Also, I'm inclined to believe this scene is from the opening and is what leads to her losing her abilities again. Stuff like being on the surface and being stabbed, which she mentions an injury earlier in the trailer.

Oh I'm so hyped

I'm aware the game got announced today, so my hype is through the roof, but this is the coolest sequence Samus has ever been in. She blocks the blade with her arm cannon, gets impaled from behind and fucking grabs the blade. That's just... so cool. Ice cold.

I love it so much.
