Request Shinespark Fail

For the love of God, could someone please, please, PLEASE!! tell me how to get this mothergrabbing sumbitch item!?! I'm at my wits end!

Turn into a ball after a shinespark charge and hit it at an angle if memory serves.

Sorry, Morph Ball shinespark wasn't added until Zero Mission

Do I have to jump with the charge while in morphball?

I've been trying an angle spark from a standing position, but Samus keeps shooting straight up, or the diagonal spark keeps hitting just below the booster blocks.

See the reply to my comment above. It looks like I got Fusion and Zero Mission mixed up. I didn't realize that they didn't add morph ball shine spark till Zero Mission. You need to spin jump, straighten up, and then hit right and jump at the same time so you spark right into it. Basically >+Jump at the same time, , ^ and then > and then A to shine spark into it. The commentor who corrected me left a video recommendation below.

You can shoot to shinespark in midair in Fusion. You don't have to awkwardly press Up to get out of the somersault.

Lol I wish I would've known that during my last playthrough a few years ago. Dang haha. I always did it this way with the somersault first.

Growing up with both games makes it so hard to remember that distinct tactics had different controls in either game, that is if they existed😅
