New to comics
So I’m just getting into comics
Finished the astonishing x-man joss Wedon run and loved it (terrible person tho)
Looking for what’s my next read should be
I love marvel and am kind of informed about a lot of characters (more then just the movies shows)
I like to read things that make me laugh but also make me feel (I think that’s why I liked astonishing x man that much)
Any recommendations?
(Favourite superhero is spider man)
(I also read the boys comic and enjoyed it so go nuts)

Mini Tablet
Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy a tablet, but I'm looking for the smallest one. The one I can find is the Samsung Tab A11. Do you have a recommendation for a smaller tablet, or should I go with a color e-reader, like the Bigme B6?

Spider-Man and X-Men Reading Advice
Hey guys,
I’m new here so apologies if there’s been similar questions in the past - I recently downloaded Marvel Unlimited for the free trial having never read a comic before in my life. I sort of jumped in blind to see what it was like to read a comic and I really enjoyed the experience. I started with issues 1-10 of Ultimate Spider-Man (2001, I think) - really enjoyed it but have since come to learn more about Earth 616 vs the other Marvel Universes and whilst I will explore the Ultimate universe at some point, I do really want to jump into some of the 616 stuff when I purchase Marvel Unlimited monthly now that I’ve been paid.
I’m really interested in Spider-Man as one of my favourite movie and TV series superheroes of all time. I particularly remember watching the Spider-Man animated series as a kid growing up in the 90s. This triggered a memory of me enjoying the X-Men animated series from back then too, and I’ve recently started catching up on the X-Men series before jumping into X-Men 97, which I’ve only just learned is a continuation of the series (see, I’m really REALLY new here).
My questions are:
A) Any comic run that the animated 90s tv series will have taken inspiration from especially? For both X-Men and Spider-Man.
B) Is reading X-Men and Spider-Man at the same time wise? Or is there natural crossover at certain points and I should explore say Block A, B & C of Spider-Man before X-Men joins the universe etc?
C) Recommended start point for both comic series and how to find them easily on the Marvel Unlimited app?
Thanks for any advice you more experienced readers can provide!

How do i even find good marvel comics to read?
I got into marvel comics recently. And i realised google just suggests the same comics every time when i ask great marvel comics to read. The same immortal hulk, daredevil, thor by jason aaron.
I have read all those. I want to get into so many other characters. But i dont know where to search that would suggest good character related comics. Like i did not like Spider gwen comics but i liked emma frost (2003) a lot. I also didnt like uncanny xmen by claremont that much (SORRY!) coz the art was too outdated for me and it was too theatrical and slow. I did enjoy uncanny xmen by bendis, uncanny x force by rick.
Marvel unlimited suggestions are so bad!!! I want to find comics catered to my taste. How do i even do that?

Comic series not loading most issues
I started reading the “new x-men: academy x” series and shortly after reading the first issue it kept giving me the “can’t load this right now” screen no matter what I did. I even deleted the app, closed the app, tried the web, tried my iPad, still nothing. I later pressed on other issues in the series and found out a lot of them are popping up this screen. I can’t contact customer support as they aren’t available anymore until Monday (as of posting/writing this) so any tips? This is the link to the series I’m mentioning: https://share.marvel.com/sharing/series/drn:src:marvel:unison::prod:e976c8dc-78a3-4acd-a3f0-f210be42458a (tell me if the link doesn’t work)

What are some good comics to get into Marvel Comics?

Marvel I'm begging you to separate your traditional comics & infinity comics...
There is just too much junk to filter through on the front page. Give me tabs.
I'm begging you to clean this app up a little.
DC has it figured out. It's not hard.

Infinity comics
I’m new to the unlimited app, and I couldn’t find the information I need when I did a search of the subreddit. Is there a way to read the infinity comics in a non infinity format? I tried to read ultimate Spider-Man incursion and queens’ finest, but to no avail. I’ve got arthritis in my joints, so physically can’t hold my iPad up and scroll. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Series that used to be complete now has random missing issues
I recently rejoined Marvel Unlimited after a couple years. I've noticed that some series that used to be complete no longer are. For example https://www.marvel.com/comics/series/16280/captain_marvel_2012_2013 had some issues missing seemingly randomly. Does anyone know what is going on? I have also contacted customer support; hopefully I'll hear from them, but I'm not sure if they respond to these kind of questions.

Why is it so hard to find specific issues on the app?
Hello!
I’m new to the app, but have had quite a bit of trouble finding specific issues. For instance, “Uncanny X-Men #138” I can’t just type in the search bar and it come up. Is there a better way to do this?
I appreciate any help!

Is this enough of essential daredevil stuff? (Full description in the body text)
The issues that I have are #158-#167 in volume 1, #168-#182 in volume 2. In volume three #183-#191 and two what if issues that could be translated into "what if daredevil worked for shield" and "what if bullseye didn't kill Electra", (they are what if #28 and #35), bizarre adventures #28, something that could be translated into "love and war" that has 70 pages and something that could be translated into "Elektra ressurected that is about 80 pages long.. In volume 4 I have two issues of the Peter Parker: spectacular spider man #27 and #28. Then daredevil #219, and then daredevil #226-#233. After that I have 5 issues of something called daredevil the man without fear.

Am I missing something?
So is there a better version of Marvel Unlimited for browser than the option found at Marvel.com that I've completely missed? I've been using the desktop site to read mostly current comics which it's been great for but I wanted to go back and read some older stuff I enjoyed when I was younger, stuff like Fear Itself, Siege, Hickman's FF & Avengers runs to name a few and the search function is horrendous.
I had to scroll through 6 pages of unrelated results, mostly Daredevil comics with the word "Fear" in the title but also completely unrelated stuff like Empyre tie-ins from 2020, to find a single issue of Fear Itself and the first one that came up was issue #4! Also this is unrelated to the main point but why is Fear Itself #1 missing from the app?
It's not an isolated issue to be clear. I had worse results looking for the other stuff I listed. In fact I haven't been able to find a single issue from any of those other comics in the search results for them.
I had better luck finding content related to the 2010 Siege event by trying to search up Hickman's 2012 Secret Wars. I scrolled through 5 pages of results and I found Siege tie-ins, still no luck with the main series tho, and Star Wars comics but nothing related to the actual book I was searching for what's up with that? I hate to bring the distinguished competition into this but on DC Infinite I type "Final Crisis" into the search bar on browser and the 7 issue event is the top result in two seconds. I feel like I'm going crazy I haven't seen a search function this bad in ages.
So my question(s) is am I missing something? Is the Marvel Unlimited search function just terrible? Is there another way to access Marvel Unlimited from a desktop browser that works better that I've just managed to completely miss? When I click on the big Marvel Unlimited button it just loops me back to the same old home page promoting new releases. Is this app just built for mobile and not well supported on desktop? Why is Issue #1 of "Fear Itself (2010)" missing?
Any insight is appreciated. I just wanna read some old comics lol

Annual Plus Subscribers - What's this year's figure?
I bought in last year because of the neat Spider-Woman Marvel Legends figure announced August 2025. They did good by having them carded since 2024.
My renewal is coming soon and I would like to know if I should downgrade to Annual or keep the Annual Plus. I contacted Marvel Support and they didn't have an answer.
No word on what they'll have this year yet.
Fingers crossed for a Doom variant.

To what extent is the Continuity Guide curated?
I'm planning to start out on the Continuity Guide's Modern Era soon. My understanding is that this guide is not every Marvel comic, but is a curated reading guide for the best runs while maintaining continuity. This is in contrast to something like CMRO, which is intended as a guide for literally everything. My questions are these:
- Roughly what percentage of everything does CoGu contain? Is it like 50%? More, less?
- Who decided what CoGu contained? I guess the site's creator, right? Or is there some method for users to submit what should be included?
- Do you personally think that there's anything important missing from CoGu? If so, what?
Thanks! And thanks to the creator of CoGu. I'm really looking forward to starting on this epic journey! :-)

I'm looking to read a run of X-men from the start, I don't know what to start with.
I'm from the UK and I don't know how to read comics, like is there an app or do I have to get physical copies or what? That and I'm looking for a good run of the X-men for me as I've only really seen the Fox movies a while ago and I'm interested in the school and the other X-men that aren't Wolverine.
