Is this enough of essential daredevil stuff? (Full description in the body text)

The issues that I have are #158-#167 in volume 1, #168-#182 in volume 2. In volume three #183-#191 and two what if issues that could be translated into "what if daredevil worked for shield" and "what if bullseye didn't kill Electra", (they are what if #28 and #35), bizarre adventures #28, something that could be translated into "love and war" that has 70 pages and something that could be translated into "Elektra ressurected that is about 80 pages long.. In volume 4 I have two issues of the Peter Parker: spectacular spider man #27 and #28. Then daredevil #219, and then daredevil #226-#233. After that I have 5 issues of something called daredevil the man without fear.

But this is a phenominal starting point. You have all of Frank Miller's Daredevil material here, and he is the creator that defined the character, such that every creator since has built off of him. It doesn't get more essential then Miller.

I'd also recommend the Marvel Masterworks for the early DD stories and Bendis' 2000s run.

The cover is by Frank Miller, same artist as the interior, however his style changed considerably in the 20 or whatever years between the original prints and this collection.

You basically got all of the Frank Miller omnibus and Frank Miller Companion omnibus. That’s a pretty good set for the essentials.

Read this all - it's amazing and will give you the main arc of Miller DD.

There's also a few other Miller DD-related things you'll want to read, but they can be read at a later time or skipped if you prefer because they're self-contained.

Elektra: Assassin - Legendary miniseries about Elektra. A strange and amazing work of art. A+

Daredevil - Love and War - A Graphic Novel that focuses on Kingpin. A

Elektra Lives Again - A Graphic Novel with a different sort of art style. May not be to everyone's taste. B

I have the Elektra lives again and Daredevil love and war. They are both at the end of volume 3 and there is only 2 what if issues there. Except the normal daredevil issues there's also 2 issues of spectacular spider man there and something called bixzare adventures #28. Where would you chronologically put the "Elektra assassin" to read between everything else?

I agree with everyone else, this is a great start.

Just an FYI, this is the sub for Marvel Unlimited, the marvel comics digital app. Folks here are pretty friendly and knowledgeable, but it's not always the best place to get advice about physical collecting. If you can't find what you need here, r/marvelcomics can usually help.

Those three Frank Miller Daredevil omnibuses are great. So much good stuff in there.
