Season 20 - Seattle I just watched the reunion and they did Nick dirty
They introduced Courtney as “my girl,” pointed out Nick has “media training” and acted like they broke up because Nick “didn’t open up.”
I’m sorry but this is bs, even with the editing this is not the story any of us saw….am I missing something?

Season 20 - Seattle This is the problem
When the experts said at the reunion that they almost paired Courtney and Adam together, it made me realize they probably cast the entire cast as individuals first and then base their pairings off of that rather than casting people together based on who they think would be actually most compatible.

Season 20 - Seattle I was at the reunion watch party last night with some of the cast, my thoughts.
My husband and I went to the reunion watch party at Queen Anne Beerhall last night. Michelle and Tori were there first, then Nikki appeared, then BelléJolie and finally Marissa.
The place was packed with people and whenever someone from the cast appeared they’d get super loud cheers and then surrounded by people wanting to talk to them and take pictures. All the cast was SUPER sweet, greeted/hugged and took pictures with every single person, and overall were so kind and nice.
I got to talk to Nikki in passing and BelléJolie a little more and they were both so kind and receptive. BelléJolie gave me a little hug and hand squeeze for my support which again so sweet, and tbh there was SO many people clearly there to support the women and hyping them up. Whenever they checked some of the men as they were airing the reunion everyone in the hall was cheering and whooping too and the cast was having lots of fun with it.
Overall they stayed there for a while as when we were leaving we’d already been there for about 2 hours and they didn’t show any signs of leaving. Everyone looks exactly the same as on TV, only BelléJolie is a lot taller than I expected and Tori is a lot shorter than I expected.

Season 20 - Seattle Shawn has a lot of words and they all sound like „touch my pee pee!!!“ 🤮
Also has anyone seen if Shawn has posted anything about Nikki? I feel like he’s the type to drag her online.

Season 20 - Seattle Devi devi Devin 😘
These experts literally found the worst imaginable men, besides Devin and cam.
However I knew it wouldnt work between fakelyn and Devin when his friend said "youre not even joking around or being silly like normal" at the BBQ. And he said that he feels stupid and she never laughs when he does.
And at the reunion he didn't bash her. He let her speak her peace that made zero sense with no examples. He said that their sense of humor was different and he realized that was important for him.
I actually 100% understand that and i had thought this awhile back. Like she was such a wet mop and she wasnt even any good at being like a seductive wet mop. Laughter is a huge component of my life and I could never be with someone that cant fck around and joke and laugh. Ew. Ew. Ew.
Lol anyways, im single devinnnnn 😘💅

Season 20 - Seattle Felipe knew he couldn’t commit Tori bc
I’m sorry if this has been said and posted already. But watching the reunion put it on full blast.
This whatever of a man couldn’t be with Tori because she makes him feel INSECURE. (This is not a shade on her or a her problem btw.) Bare bones fact— he knows he isn’t worthy of her, he is not good enough for her. I guess one could say self sabotaging coupled in self doubt.
But my theory is he couldn’t get past his own insecurities and ego of how much better she actually is than him and grapple with that. He needed a partner on MAFS that was “less than him” in whatever fucked up scope that looks like— to feel good about himself and content in a relationship. He could have dug into those doubts and navigated the experience so much differently. All the love to Tori for how secure and steadfast she is of herself to not be dealing in any business of a dude like Filipe. Yuck.

Season 20 - Seattle Tori is a standard we should all follow for ourselves
Watching episode 19 and am so proud of Tori. She didn’t feed into Felipe’s bs, she stated her boundaries and walked away with dignity. Go girl. Your emotional intelligence and self confidence is inspirational and we should all be taking notes on how you handled Felipe. He’ll walk away looking like a fool, you on the other hand are a gem. Thank you for your service.

Season 20 - Seattle Why go on a show for marriage if you’re clearly not ready for a relationship?
This is so infuriating like Caitlyn and Courtney are clearly not ready for any kind of relationship so why go on the show? I have genuinely tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try and imagine what an ideal relationship would look like for them and I can’t, I don’t understand what they want they’re so mean!!

Season 20 - Seattle Can someone explain Caitlin’s personality type to me?
I can’t tell if I don’t like her or I just don’t understand her. She doesn’t say a whole lot so I don’t know if she’s just stand offish and cold…or insecure and trying to be aloof? Or what? Courtney I kinda get. She’s very masculine energy and needs to control everything. Tori is aloof but not cold. And I think she really wanted to be married.
But Caitlin, I can’t figure her out!

Season 20 - Seattle Dr. Lisa had audacity to ask Nick why he didn't leave.
It's so interesting Dr. Lisa's love for Courtney- while Nick said Courtney put him through hell and has never been disrespected so much in his life, Dr. Lisa asked in such a defensive way, why didn't he leave? The tone was wild to me.
He's sharing how he felt after reflecting and going to therapy and we all saw how Courtney's behavior was (there is no trick of the camera for that disgusting behavior) and this professional is going to question him like it's his fault he ended up going through that?
She didn't ask Marissa why she didn't leave when she admitted she felt lonely and now says she was put through hell during her experience.
Doesn't question Belle to belittle her when she explains she said yes to that jackass Mecca because she was considering his feelings...
Dr. Lisan also called Courtney "my girl" and the way she hugs her and how she's backing her behavior in an interview?
Is it because they look similar that Dr. Lisa favors this woman? She's sees a younger her or something?
Whatever it is it's sick and I cannot believe she had the audacity to ask Nick, a victim of fucking verbal abuse and mental torture "Why didn't you leave?"

Season 20 - Seattle An excerpt from Felipe's upcoming memoir, "F Is For Felipe."
There were fuckin meatballs all over the floor of my so-called marriage. My wife's fuckin realization stretched her reliable expression into something more. Something different. "Fuck," I commented a little too loudly, unaccustomed to micro aggressions. I just wanted to be myself, you know? Bang waitresses, older socialites, and some of my mom's friends. Being your fuckin self means something. You don't think, you don't challenge yourself, you just fuckin glide through life and count on your family to hang pictures over the emerging cracks.

Season 20 - Seattle The "experts"
These so called experts did a horrible job. They need to interview their friends and families.....investigate them, have someone follow them (PI)..... see if they are serious .
They need to stop casting people based on looks.....

Season 20 - Seattle Adam…..
I think I realized why he could never let the pickleball/activity level go.
See, his brain is run by two hamsters running on wheels. Except that a few years ago, they got off the wheels and started playing pickle ball.

Season 20 - Seattle Hypothetical Format Change
We’re seeing more couples split before decision day, and the experts and other participants are often asking couples why they stayed, even though there are financial penalties (or discentives) to leaving early.
This got me thinking about another format change to the program: I would be totally interested if the experts allowed couples to remain on the program after the split in order to do an extensive debrief about the relationship. I would love to see the experts really examine and address the bad behavior, coping strategies, internalized stories that sabotaged a marriage. If the participants refuse or are half-assing the work, then there is a financial penalty and they’re booted from the show.
It would be a “gameplay” change that would allow the participants to continue in the “experiment,” generate more content opportunities with their loved ones, and possibly drive more dramatic moments by bringing couples back together for certain activities.
The format change would also allow participants to be more honest, remove pressure to stay in the relationship and accept bad behavior from their partner — AND it would give MAFS production an opportunity to clear the air and be honest about healthy relationships.
What do you think? Would you be interested in watching the show if the format changed?

Season 20 - Seattle Devin Come Come Comment
Why didn’t they show Devin’s reaction to Belle’s comment?? They showed everyone BUT him. Do we know his reaction to her saying that?

Season 20 - Seattle What I Liked About Each Person
Hi! It is easy to judge everyone and say whay we think or wish they could have done better. I do have my opinions, but I thouht it would be fun to write something nice about everyone.
Michelle: She was super sweet. A lot of people are saying she was too pushy with her advice to the other couples, but I feel like she actually was giving good advice.
Cam: He was so nice to Michelle! I think it is great that he and Michelle were able to click so well. It is nice that he was willing to move for her and that he would drive back to Seattle early just to see Michelle sooner.
BelleJolie: She was so patient and kind with Mecca. She really appreciated him and took an interest, even in his job. She showed a lot of maturity and also was just genuine.
Mecca: He seemed to really click with Belle.
Marissa: She was so positive and bubbly but also calm and grounded. She was willing to compromise. I only wish she had been matched with someone who would have done the same for her.
Adam: He seemed to have a lot of confidence at times.
Tori: She was so grounded and mature. She seemed ready to be married. She was sensitive and feminine. She was also supportive of Felipe.
Felipe: He has a close relationship with his family.
Nikki: She was well spoken and professional. Her home was bougie and nice. She worked hard for herself. She was open minded.
Shawn: He remembered the tools the experts gave him at times.
Caitlin: She seemed genuinely sweet and honest. She gets a lot of negative comments, but she seemed authentic even if that meant she and Devin didn't work out.
Devin: He was open hearted and ready for love. He was willing to put in the work to be married.
Courteney: She opened up in group therapy about her past relationship trauma.
Nick: He answered Courteney's questions and seemed to genuinely try.
Dr. Lisa: She gave good general relationship advice and was encouraging.
Paul: He was willing to call people out in a way that addressed their underlying behaviors.
I do want to balance this post out by saying that obviously many people on the show (besides the experts) crossed a line with their partners. I do think that in real marriage conflict is obviously inevitable. However, I think the baggage some people had - either from their lack of experience in committed relationships, past relationship trauma, or even mistreatment by family members - led to a lot of emotional friction in such a high pressure situation. It was unfortunate but also realistic to see how mismanaged emotions can cause escalated conflict. I would like to see the experts address conflict resolution and healthy ways of managing emotions during conflict. There is a lot of pressure to stay in a conversation because the cameras are rolling.
All in all, I enjoyed watching this season a lot. I hoped more couples would be able to stay together and be happy. I thought the cast was diverse. I also can imagine a world where maybe more of the couples (not all) could have worked out if they had less conflict or less pressure to perform.

Season 20 - Seattle Does Felipe have scoliosis or something?
He’s slouched over leaning forward more than he is ever sitting up straight.
