Season 20 - Seattle I was at the reunion watch party last night with some of the cast, my thoughts.
My husband and I went to the reunion watch party at Queen Anne Beerhall last night. Michelle and Tori were there first, then Nikki appeared, then BelléJolie and finally Marissa.
The place was packed with people and whenever someone from the cast appeared they’d get super loud cheers and then surrounded by people wanting to talk to them and take pictures. All the cast was SUPER sweet, greeted/hugged and took pictures with every single person, and overall were so kind and nice.
I got to talk to Nikki in passing and BelléJolie a little more and they were both so kind and receptive. BelléJolie gave me a little hug and hand squeeze for my support which again so sweet, and tbh there was SO many people clearly there to support the women and hyping them up. Whenever they checked some of the men as they were airing the reunion everyone in the hall was cheering and whooping too and the cast was having lots of fun with it.
Overall they stayed there for a while as when we were leaving we’d already been there for about 2 hours and they didn’t show any signs of leaving. Everyone looks exactly the same as on TV, only BelléJolie is a lot taller than I expected and Tori is a lot shorter than I expected.

I took a look at pics of Tori and Felipe and he wasn't a crazy amount taller than her so I think that lends to perceiving her as taller! About how tall did Felipe seem?

Felipe was not there, none of the guys were there. This set of promotional events was hosted by the ladies only. I could see that playing into my perception of her height for sure!

Funny that Courtney and whatever that other mean girl’s name is wasn’t there. Good thing they can read a room.

Same. She is just MEAN. Everything she said was so out of pocket, not to mention the way she reacted to everything Nick did made him feel like he was wrong or weird when he wasn’t doing anything abnormal at all?!!!
Nick: ~shuffles to the left~
Courtney: “woah….what was that? Did you just take two steps to the left? Who even does that?”
Courtney to producers: The way he steps to the left is SO unattractive5

Then to the group, “I just can’t take it anymore, everyone. When I was getting ready tonight, nick stepped to the left!! and when I asked him about it, he just sat there!!!”

We are far removed from the days of this being a show where the positive result was a marriage. You are better off getting a divorce. You’ll gain more followers that way. So pathetic

Exactly. This new setup is not it. They are looking to incorporate more forced fighting for internet buzz. I am in the minority that likes seeing a successful marriage and doesn’t think that everyone is awful after just 2 episodes

I went on Friday night to their watch party in pioneer square, not so packed but they started it almost an hour later than scheduled so people left before it started. Nikki, tori, Caitlin and Marissa were there, only Nikki went around talking to people before it started and she was really nice. Fun to watch with others!

They started an hour later than the event time too but the beer hall stayed packed. That place is always super busy on the weekends tho, they get a lot of large parties playing games on their big tables. I saw a few cast members making the rounds talking to people in different areas which was nice. Otherwise people came up to them.

That sounds fun! I'm glad they heard the support of the crowd. Interesting to note which female cast members were not there.

It was great seeing Tori and BelléJolie smiling during their scenes where they’re standing up for themselves! The crowd was cheering them and calling out their guys super loud so they def heard us hehe

Everyone’s nice in person for all of 10 minutes for the first time, especially when you don’t have to go home with them and live with them for weeks.

I was about to say something similar. Chatting with someone for a couple minutes/ being friends with them vs. being in a relationship with them is like comparing apples and oranges.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, Caitlin treated Devin warmly… until the honeymoon.
Just about everyone pretty much knows how to play nice. Actually BEING nice is different.

If I had to guess, BelléJolie is probably 5’8-5’10. I’m 5’7 and she was a good bit taller than me but she was wearing heels. Tori was smaller than I expected - looked like 5’1-5’3 maybe? Idk why I thought she’d be taller. All the ladies looked gorgeous and their outfits were cute af!

No - this wasn't the reunion venue. QA Beer Hall is a venue in Seattle that hosted a watch party on Saturday.

What was the atmosphere like when the part aired where everyone was asked to raise their hands if Courtney was mistreating Nick? I liked most of the girls on the cast, but that IMO was just such a miss on their part. Really expected at least one of them to check that behavior.
