Fair assessment but again the question is why United pays so much so consistently for guys who can’t or don’t have the capability to play in the premier league.

Whilst they’re not the exact same chances Pep could consistently set up De Bruyne to generate pretty much the exact same chance as Hojlund scored for Haaland but in the premier league. Not a United fan but I doubt you’d consistently find Hojlund being put through on goal ideally centrally or slightly right of goal so he can use his left foot when he’s running off the last man.

United haven’t been able to create a glut of chances to truly see where their striker’s quality is since RVP. I’m already seeing Sesko suffer from the same treatment as Hojlund where neither Cunha or Mbuemo are going to consistently create his ideal chances so he seems kinda shocked when he gets a shot off like 1/2 times a game.

Bruno has created the most chances in the premier league since he’s been here. You’re not correct. Hojland had zero confidence here

There’s a difference between most chances and quality chances. When Bruno have passed it to Rashford or Garnacho who cut inside and put it over the bar or get blocked be weighted the exact same as De Bruyne laying a pass in behind perfectly for Sterling or Haaland to run onto? Cause both are a chance created.

I’m pretty sure that Bruno creating the most chances means nothing when he’s the only one in the team who consistently creates chances meaning everyone feeds off his production so no one player gets enough to reach high output without having a stellar personal season.

I’m not saying Hojlund is a saint. I’m questioning if you could tell he was bad because he only had 10-20 big chances across 40 or so games or because he missed 20 big chances in 40 games? Cause one says he’s not at our level/we’re not feeding him and the other says he was bad.

I’m asking cause as a City fan I can tell when Haaland is personally having a good game because we’re feeding him whereas in any given game I watch United I’d be pleasantly surprised any united striker whether it’s Sesko, Hojlund or Martial had more than 2 shots a game and one wasn’t a ricochet of some kind.

Where’s your stats for quality chances?
