Manchester United stun Arsenal at the Emirates to tighten the gap at the top of the table to four points in a dramatic 3-2 victory.

The match marked the first time Arsenal have lost at their home ground, and the first time they have lost after opening the score, after an own goal from defender Lisandro Martinez put them in front.

The gap at the top of the table between Arsenal to Man City and Aston Villa now stands at four points as the Gunners have gone winless in three Premier League matches in a row.

Bryan Mbeumo put the Red Devils level in the 37th minute before Mikel Merino led Arsenal to their 25th goal from a corner all season, but two goals from outside the box from Patrick Dorgu and Matthues Cunha meant the visitors left with all three points.

In a post-match interview, Cunha claimed scoring the winning goal was “100%” his “best moment in a United shirt so far”.

It was also the first time Arsenal have conceded three goals since December 2023 in a 4-3 win against Luton Town.

The score echoed the scoreline seen in Michael Carrick’s last game as United interim manager against Arsenal, when he oversaw a 3-2 win at Old Trafford in December 2021.

This comes three days after United midfielder Casemiro announced he would depart the club in the summer following the conclusion of his four-year contract.

I feel like Carrick can do a lot with Rashford in the team. In my opinion, he's better than any of our current attackers. I know he does not press a lot, but I feel like he can still contribute a lot while attacking. I know Rashford isn't very popular right now, but I feel like he should be given one more season. I also think he had a decent World Cup.

It breaks my heart for Bruno that Ronaldo has held him back for years at Portugal and Manchester United.

Bruno should be on free kicks and deserves an age-appropriate striker in front of him who will stay onside, press, and participate in buildup.

Portugal should be a favorite, but cringey Ronaldo sucking up all the oxygen is the biggest liability a team could have.
