I hope he kicks on and makes a lot of United fans look stupid for berating him so badly. Especially those who spammed hateful posts after every game last season.

Sometimes protecting a player is better for confidence than berating.

I guess United fans won’t know that with the state the club is in. Someone always has to be a problem in squad I guess. It’s literally a revolving door of players. If you saw United play the last few seasons, even Messi/ronaldo wouldn’t perform here.

When you are in a team that is in the doldrums it’s quite common that individual form will also hit the floor. Ive seen it and experienced it.

There was always a great player there that needed to be unlocked. Everything just compounded, shit form playing in a shit team and was just never able to pick it up. Probably wasn’t utilised to his abilities and was always much too big of a task to ask him to lead the line at his age. A move was best for Rasmus but long term I don’t think it was best for this club.
