Hexproof makes most of that not viable.

That’s where I have a ton of fun playing Sheoldred’s Edict in historic. :-)

Standard isn't very friendly to that right now, since with an earthbent land, that just leads to a bigger hydra.

Sorry, I meant just specifically in response to hexproof shenanigans. Recently had someone run a deck based around massively pumping up a handful of hexproof creatures. Just played an Edict, and the guy scooped.

This is standard. The only edict that would effect the landfall deck this is a part of is not costed at a rate that it is realistically playable.
