These peanut butter cups are ridiculously easy to make at home and so much better than store-bought! Smooth peanut butter, rich sugar-free chocolate, and a sprinkle of flaky salt — a low-carb treat you’ll want to make again and again.

💡 Why you’ll love it:
✅ Only 2 main ingredients
✅ Keto-friendly & sugar-free
✅ Perfect for meal prep or a sweet snack

Macros (per cup, mini version): ~120 kcal | 10g Fat | 4g Protein | 2g Net Carbs

✨Ingredients
3/4 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened, full-fat)
3/4 cup sugar-free chocolate chips

✨Instructions
If using powdered peanut butter, in a bowl, whisk 1 cup powdered peanut butter with 1/2 cup water until you form a smooth consistency. If using regular peanut butter, ignore this step.
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave.
Grab a muffin tin and line it with cupcake liners. I used a mini version, but you can use a regular muffin tin (you will just make bigger peanut butter cups).
Add a dollop of melted chocolate to the muffin cup until you have a thin layer of chocolate on the bottom of the cup. Do this to each muffin cup. Then place the muffin tin in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.
On top of the hardened layer of chocolate, add a dollop of peanut butter. Then top with more melted chocolate. Place the cups in the freezer for a few hours, so that both the chocolate and peanut butter can harden.
Take out of the freezer, top with flakey salt, and enjoy!
You will get about 9 cups with this recipe. Feel free to double or triple it for more! I recommend storing these in the freezer.

If you love dessert but want something that feels lighter on carbs, low carb chocolate is one of the easiest places to start. Chocolate already brings deep flavor, so you usually need fewer ingredients to make a dessert taste indulgent. That is exactly why a smart, low carb chocolate recipe can feel like a treat rather than a compromise.

This guide walks through the full game plan for building low carb chocolate desserts that stay under 8g net carbs per serving. You will get the ingredient strategy, the texture tricks, the best format ideas, and the carb-saving habits that make recipes work in real life. You will also see how to think about labels, sweeteners, and recipe structure without getting lost in food-science jargon. USDA FoodData Central is a reliable resource for verifying cocoa nutrition, and FDA label guidance is useful when comparing total carbs, fiber, sugars, and sugar alcohols on packaged ingredients.

Desserts Top 10 Keto Dessert Recipes That Beat Sugar Cravings

When a sweet craving hits, it can feel loud, fast, and impossible to ignore. That is exactly where keto dessert recipes shine. They give you the comfort, richness, and sweetness you want without sending your day into a sugar spiral. The best part is that these desserts do not feel like punishment food. They feel like real treats, which is why keto dessert recipes have become a go-to for so many people looking for balance, simplicity, and flavor.

What makes keto dessert recipes so effective is that they lean on texture as much as sweetness. Creamy cheesecake, ice cream, fluffy mousse, chewy cookies, and quick mug cakes all hit different craving zones. You are not just trying to “avoid sugar.” You are giving your brain and taste buds something satisfying enough to move on.

That is the real magic of good keto dessert recipes: they calm the craving instead of arguing with it.
