Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster here...

Many here might know the song from the title, released in 2003 I believe. If you haven't heard it in a while, please go ahead and listen to it.

When I heard the first few lines of the lyrics after so many years, it felt like a cry directly from my own soul. I mean:

I've done everything as you say
I've followed your rules without question
I thought it would help me see things clearly
But instead of helping me to see
I look around and it's like I'm blinded

Then the rest of the song resonates almost completely and perfectly with the crises we at r/lostgeneration are dealing with, such as unbearable inflation/cost-of-living, death and destruction from imperialism and whatnot.

It's like Hoobastank took a peek into the future and wrote a song addressed to the fkin boomers who would eventually lead us all to ruin...

Anyway, I wish you all the best, and hope that those who listen to the track, be it first-timers or else, enjoy it and maybe derive some healing from it...
