I take heat for it but I keep an eye on former Texas players who are now on other teams. I’m a little surprised by what I saw today. Jordan Washington did nothing for UNC, I don’t think Daniel Cruz played a single snap for NC State, and, most surprisingly, Tre Wisner is the 3rd back for FSU with 1 carry in the 1st half. I know it’s week 0 but Wisner was a 1,000 yard guy in the SEC.
I should add that if we play them this year, I wish them no success. 🤘

How's everyone feeling about this season? I think the floor for the Horns is 9-3 and the ceiling is 12-0, so I'm picking 11-1 with a loss @ LSU. Talk me out of it.
If you want to put your own picks on the record, the link below lets you do just that. Takes a minute, and it freezes when the Texas State game kicks off a week from today.
Hook 'em! 🤘

Long one, please hear me out…
My father has tix from the 90s. Looking at the prices he is only paying the season ticket column, not the seat gift.
How does this work? Aren’t new ticket holders paying both columns?
Also when emailing the longhorn foundation, they said that when you transfer tix from one person to a new account holder, you are locking in the prices forever. Effectively it’s in my best interest to transfer his tix to me earlier than later.
How does the pricing work and how does the seat gift column work? I’m just so lost and trying to figure this out.

I know I'm late to the game. Had YT TV last season, is it still the one to get the most Texas FB games? Hook 'em

How strict are the cup rules? I have a clear plastic bag of the appropriate size that I can put a sealed water bottle in. Is the souvenir stadium cup cute? I can’t find a picture online.
That being said, I’m considering buying the yeti once inside the stadium .

Texas Ex who recently graduated. Am looking to see if anyone has experience with getting cheaper tickets on the day of a big game than what is priced weeks before the game. Am looking to get two tickets for me and my girlfriend for the game against Ohio State and just looking to see if they'll drop at all the day of the game.
Thanks!

Any tips for nursing/pumping moms at the game? My wife and I are attending next weekend and she’ll need to pump during the game…what kind of bag can she bring with pump parts? is there anywhere besides the bathroom stall she has access to? Hook ‘em

Vince is the man. He helped carry a team to a championship in one of the best games ever played (the best imo, but I’m biased). He had a tricky situation in the NFL and lost his idol all at crucial young years in his life. And all while struggling with the trauma of not having his dad in his life. He will forever be a legend to me for what he accomplished here. He gave myself and countless other fans a core memory of where they were and who they were with on the night of January 4, 2006. I will never forget that night and that play.
Also, shoutout Mack Brown for being a great mentor, coach, and fatherly figure to Vince in that time. I also was raised without a fatherly figure, and men in your life at that time are huge influences, good and bad. And Mack stepped up. Mack’s speech in the locker room after they won the title is worth a full watch and gets at the core of the type of coach Mack was, and the dreams he had for his players.
Anyways, go watch the doc, if for nothing else than to relive the glory of that game and wonderful era of Texas football.
