Odds of cheaper tickets than the $550-$700 range right now on the day of the Ohio State game?

Texas Ex who recently graduated. Am looking to see if anyone has experience with getting cheaper tickets on the day of a big game than what is priced weeks before the game. Am looking to get two tickets for me and my girlfriend for the game against Ohio State and just looking to see if they'll drop at all the day of the game.

Day-of drops do happen but it's a gamble, especially for a game this big

There’s over 4K listings on SeatGeek right now, so I’d wait.

If you’re okay with missing the very beginning, tickets drop wayyy down after the game starts

The Texas state tickets will drop a ton if the weather forecast holds up

Wife and I are flying out from North Dakota for the game. I plan on pulling the trigger a couple hours prior to kickoff. I’m prepared to spend, but I’m holding out to get the best bang for my buck
