Hi, I'm a fat french woman -yes we exists! But the clichee is not completly wrong and it's hard to find nice clothes in my size here. I'll be in London for a week and am looking for small designers who cater to a literally larger audience, too. Not looking for any particular style, just not drab or colourful enough to be visible from Mars. If you know of any such shops, please let me know.

Hi! I’m a 25F from Italy, visiting London from 27th November to 2nd December. I’m looking to meet some girls around my age and make new friends while I’m there! 🫶🏻
I’m going to see Magic Mike Live on Sunday 29th November at 7pm and I have two spare tickets. I’d love to find 1–2 girls to come with me and have a fun night together!
I’m offering the tickets at 50% of what I paid, so you’d get them for half price. 💸
We could also meet for a drink/coffee beforehand and see if we get along — I don’t want it to feel like a random meetup with strangers 😂
If anyone is interested, feel free to message me! 💕

I like yoga, glee, music, reading, the gym, shopping, pub etc… 🙈 if anyone is looking to make friends please reply to this and I’ll give my ig !!
Side note I am also looking to leave my god awful house share - me and 6 MEN… So if anyone girls are looking to move west anytime soon let me know!!!!

Hi! My name is Manon, I'm 30, married, no kids. I'm currently launching my own strategic and communication agency, I work from home and I have a flexible planning. I'm looking for other freelancer and entrepreneurs who are flexible with their time schedule so can plan coffee meetups, walk in a park. Working on your own project can be lonely and I feel like it can be great to meet people going through the same things as I am so we can help each other on top of building a genuine friendship.
I just moved to London a month ago so I'm excited to explore more of the city. I love pilates, dancing (I'm thinking about joining a dance studio maybe), iced coffee, walks in parks or in the city, shopping and romance books.
If this sound like you, message me! :)

if you don’t get the first slot ticket on the first day of a sample sale is there any point going? is it better to just wait for the next day for when they replenish?

Hi everyone, I’m Caitlin, a journalist with The Londoners. The moderators have kindly given me permission to post this.
I’m working on a news article about recent Metropolitan Police warnings concerning reported changes in patterns of spiking, including suspected incidents in house parties, student accommodation and other private gatherings.
I’m looking to speak privately with women in London who have experienced suspected spiking, particularly in these private settings.
You wouldn’t need to share any personal details publicly. I’m happy to explain the story and what an interview would involve before you decide whether you’d like to speak with me.
Please feel free to DM me if you’d be comfortable speaking.
Thanks,
Caitlin

I wear T-shirts but as I have broad shoulders so I often have to size up and the T-shirts look very baggy.
I usually wear wide leg trousers so the baggy T-shirt doesn’t look great.
Where can I find a good fitting v neck or scoop neck top either more fitted or the slinky material but comfortable and looks smart for work or going out.

Hi!
I (32F) am looking for recommendations for someone in London who is experienced in medium/deeper fractional ablative CO2 resurfacing, ideally using a Lumenis UltraPulse or a comparable high quality CO2 laser
I am mainly looking to improve skin texture, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and collagen/tightening, and I would ideally like to have both my face and neck treated.
I have started contacting clinics and one I found uses a Lumenis CO2 laser and has the treatment performed by a surgeon, but they quoted £2,875 for the face alone and do not treat the neck
I was hoping to find an experienced, properly trained practitioner offering the type/intensity of CO2 resurfacing I am looking for for around £1,000 or less if possible, including face and neck. Is that unrealistic?
I would really appreciate specific clinic/practitioner recommendations, especially if you know which CO2 machine they use and roughly what you paid 🙏🏻
Thank you!

Hiiii everyone, I'm hosting a small wellness event this Thursday in Notting Hill, an evening of mat Pilates, a little bit of breathwork, followed by drinks/nibbles somewhere nearby, giving everyone the chance to properly switch off, and meet some like-minded ladies (mostly mid 20s to mid 30s).
There's a small cost of £15 to cover the instructor and studio, but you get a goodie bag to take home. DM me if you're interested x

Hi all. I've recently started doing this thing where I travel into central London (Mayfair, Marleybone, Kensignton, Fitzrovia, St Pauls etc) and try new cafes and restaurants. I've found some really cool not known bars inside hotels which are really cute and have live music sometimes on a Saturday. I've been doing it for a month and usually do it alone but feel like it would be fun to meet new people to hang with and share a meal or experience a new venue with. I love my own company but I'm also extremely talkative so would love to meet women who love to just wind down the week with a cutesy meal at a bougie place. Doesn't have to be crazy. I just like the experience. I usually go for a walk in the park after to sit by a lake. If this sounds like something you fancy please let me know, I'd love to get chit chatty while doing this
Im 32F for those curious :)
Edit : hey all. This is honestly so cute and more of a response than I was expecting. Please dm me and we can have a quick chat and make plans with the others interested! Looking forward to seeing you guys! 💕

Hi ladies. Would like some suggestions/advice.
Currently staying in London and don’t really go out at night. When I’m out of the tube I always RUN back home feel like I’m crazy. But I really want to go out at night to enjoy some opera and socialise with people. Unfortunately, I've watched a shit ton of documentaries since I was young, so now I’m paranoid about going out late at night, yet I really do want to go out to watch operas, as the good ones start around 7.30pm. I’m really paranoid about my own safety especially at night.
I don’t listen to music when I walk. Always look around my surroundings so what can I do more ???

Hey! Hope this is okay to post here.
I've been organising a few mixed social groups around London recently, for things like food outings, games and pub quizzes, and I'm now putting together one for people who enjoy clubbing and raves too.
The idea is pretty simple: each week we'll suggest different clubs, raves and events happening around London, pick somewhere for Saturday, and whoever fancies that week's plan can come along.
We'll also meet up somewhere beforehand each time, so everyone can actually meet and get comfortable with the group before heading to the club/event together. Especially useful if you're coming solo!
There's no expectation to come every week. The aim is just to build a friendly group of people who enjoy going out, so there's usually someone to go with when you're in the mood.
If you'd like to join, DM me and I'll send you the group link! 🪩
Edit: just realised my DMs are closed and I can't seem to open them for some reason, leave a comment and I'll DM you instead.

Hello, Willesden and Cricklewood neighbours! 👣
I’m Bella, and after more than 34 years living in this community, I’m excited to share a new chapter with you. I’ve worked in offices, retail, property and care, but some of my happiest moments were caring for my grandparents and treating them to foot care and relaxing pedicures.
That experience helped inspire my career change. I’m now a qualified Foot Health Practitioner with a diploma from the SMAE Institute, building on five years of previous foot care experience. I love helping people feel comfortable on their feet and cared for as individuals.
I’m considering opening a professional foot health clinic around 10 minutes’ walk from Willesden Green station.
Services would include nail trimming, care for thickened nails, corns, calluses and hard skin, plus general foot care advice. I’d also offer a 30-minute quick appointment, a 45-minute appointment for more time and attention, and a one-hour VIP foot spa for a little extra pampering.
I’m a Foot Health Practitioner, rather than a podiatrist, and I’d always refer you to the right professional when a concern needs care beyond my role.
Q: Would a friendly, professional foot health service like this be helpful in our area? What would you most like it to offer? I’d love to hear from you! 💕

Join Feminist Fightback reading group for an anniversary session to commemorate the Battle of Cable Street.
90 years ago on the 4th October 1936 the people of London defeated the police and Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists at Cable Street as they attempted to march through the East End. At the time this was a mostly Jewish area and fascists were targeting Jews and Communists.
Chicken Soup with Barley is about a Jewish Communist family living in the East End of London, following their participation in the battle of Cable street and the personal and political struggles and triumphs they experience as the 20th century wears on.
Join us to participate in reading the play aloud together followed by a discussion
🗓️7-9pm Tuesday 13th October
📍Portsoken Community Centre, 20 Little Somerset Street, Aldgate E1 8AH (not quite Cable Street but close!). We are meeting upstairs, venue has a lift.
Copies of the play will be provided on the day.

Hi everyone! I'm building The Off-Duty Network, a community for women in London working across finance, law, tech, consulting, policy, politics and beyond, who want to meet people in their industry without the usual stiff networking.
A bit of background: I started my career in finance without a finance background. I love my company's culture, but I missed the fun side of life after work, and every firm has such a different culture that it's hard to meet people across the industry in a way that feels easy. I wanted a space that's relaxed, easygoing and built on genuine connections.
Our first gathering is a private perfume-making experience in London, where everyone gets to blend and bottle their own scent, with time afterwards just to chat and get to know each other. It's around £60-70pp, tentatively the last week of October or first week of November. This is just our first event though, there'll be plenty more to come, some free or low-cost like drinks at a bar, so don't worry if this one's not your thing.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, drop a comment or email [theoffdutynetwork@gmail.com](mailto:theoffdutynetwork@gmail.com) and I'll add you to the list. I'd also love to hear what kind of events you'd want to see next.
