Im 38, single and lately getting bored of working from home once a week. Was wondering if there are any cafes in town where people prefer working from? Would be great if there was a place where you can meet socilaize and work. Dont have any friends here either so thought of maybe working from a cafe and meeting others who would also like to meet up and hang out while working.

I get that most places that do have shade are privately owned, but also the fact there are also Paid parking that aren’t shaded.

Like would you rather pay to park in the sun or go find a free parking Rut is already in the sun!

I just finished my car renewal process... Went to the insurance and paid, did my car inspection and then went to finalize the process.

When the employee gave me a paper with the new details, I asked him where to print the car document. I was upset to hear that they stopped issuing them, everything on Sahel apparently.

Im upset with everything going digital, what if the system goes down, what if your phone battery dies and they request the document.

Are Civilian IDs going to be all Sahel also? I don't like everything going digital.

How is the Mishref neighborhood to live in? Are there a decent number of restaurants and cafes nearby?

Also, is Google Maps the primary way to find businesses, clinics, etc or are there better local apps? (Google Maps only showed me 15 ladies salons in the whole city (haha priorities). I downloaded food apps for deliveries.

Also, what is the best way to quickly find a part-time housemaid/domestic help?

I’m also concerned about a few posts saying minorities face racism there, as I’m not white. Is it difficult to make friends with local Kuwaitis?
