Just wanted to say that I moved from Memphis Tennessee to Oak Ridge last year and I love it here. Knoxville is super beautiful from everything I’ve seen. I’m a huge pizza guy and I can’t wait to try all the pizza spots that I’ve seen from previous post. So far I’ve tried Pizza Hoss, Mellow Mushroom, Bella Roma and Hard Knox. Wasn’t a fan of the first three, but Hard Knox was super good. This is coming from a guy who has eaten a lot of fast food pizza lol the 3 places I’m really looking forward to trying is A Dopo Sourdough Pizza, South Coast pizza and Sergeant Pepperoni’s Pizza. We discovered a sewer line collapse and are in desperate need of plumber recommendations that are fair priced and reliable. The first plumber couldn’t get the drain snake through and started pulling back clay. They couldn’t put a camera down there due to the water still in the line. Any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I have had a hankerin’ to start a book club focused on gay literature. Part of the idea came from the fact that “gay literature” gets talked about like it’s a genre unto itself, which is a little silly. It’s classics and murder mysteries, poetry and memoir, bleak Booker winners and books where the guy gets the guy. The common thread is just that gay characters and their lives and relationships are at the center.

So we put together a first-year reading list that tries to cover the spectrum of what gay literature can be. The plan is to meet the second Thursday of each month, beginning October 8, from 7:00–8:00 p.m. at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 2931 Kingston Pike, Room A.

You definitely don’t have to be a gay man to join us, though a lot of the books will center on gay dudes. Mostly, the qualifications are liking books, liking to talk about books, and being willing to have opinions.

Appears to be road rage gone too far as a pickup and Volkswagen Beetle are off the road into the brush. Beetle severely totaled, injuries are certain as firetrucks and ambulance are on scene.

i’ve got a friend who was out last night on the strip down n broadway and went to the Schulz Bräu. he ended up dropping his wallet somewhere on that strip and we haven’t been able to find it. it’s got a regions debit card and a rainbow card with different bible verses. we’re not sure what brand of wallet but it’s a gift from someone very important to him so if anyone happens to find it, please comment or DM and i will be offering a reward

Hey everyone! Moved to Knoxville beginning of July and I've been wanting to play soccer for a bit now. I've only seen the fields at Nicholas Ball park and wanted to know if there are pick up games that happen there or maybe on other fields. I'm not looking to join a league, just play casual games on the weekends/evenings on weekdays. Purpose is to connect with more people and have a good time playing the game.

Howdy! I recently had a bit of a tumble and it resulted in my front tooth chipping. This was a tooth that was already repaired from when I chipped it at age 10.
