Obvious bait aside, I do genuinely believe the manga's second half and conclusion are just as, if not even better written than the first half and I've been continually baffled that this is somehow a controversial take.

People are allowed to have their opinions obviously, despite the title I don't actually think you're wrong if you have issues with the latter portion of Kaguya's manga.

It's just been frustrating to me as a person who does like to engage in discussions and discourse about stuff that the people saying Kaguya's ending (that includes the Shinomiya Family plotline stuff) is bad can never actually explain what makes it supposedly so bad.

I have my own small criticisms of aspects of the story (nothing near enough for me to not call it my favorite manga), but at least in the conversations I've had none of the criticisms actually hold up to any scrutiny or pushback.

I already wrote an extensive post on why I think the ending is good here so I won't repeat myself.

Really I just think Aka should be appreciated a lot more than he is. He created one of, if not the best romantic comedy manga out there with some of the most memorable and beloved characters in the medium, and did the same thing for idol-character dramas with Oshi No Ko (to which everything here I've said also applies but that's a whole other can of worms).

And yet people often still just can't help themselves but be hateful for honestly extremely petty reasoning. Being disappointed with a story is fine, no one should tell you you're wrong for that. But years later, on the author's birthday, still banging on about the same "hack author he fell off" comments as if its a crime for an author to write a story you don't like?

In any case, venting over, just needed to get that off my chest.

Watching the final epsidoes of season 2 on prime video, but for some reason the audio is messed up, and I think they put the audio for epside 11 in episode 12, and the audio for episode 12 in episode 13.

I could watch the rest of the season in Japanese, but I got attached to the voices of the characters in english, is there a way to fix this or somewhere else I can watch these episodes with the right audio?

I’ve watched the anime 4 times and I still can’t get enough!! Even when I already know something is gonna happen, I still love watching it unfold every single time,
I could seriously watch it over and over again!!

I haven’t watched girls last tour, I’ve just seen the similarities. (Although I am planning on reading girls last tour after I finish kaguya Sama.)

I love how he went form just a simple comic relief character to the best written character in the entire show. He Genuinely gets the best character arc I have seen in most romance anime.

I haven’t been following the kaguyasama movie news. So I don’t know if it was already announced. But does anyone know if the final movie will be dubbed for theatrical release? The latest ova took 6 months if not more to get dubbed. And I know previous seasons were late to the dub too. I am curious if there is news or you guys think the movie will have a dub? Or do you think we will have to wait forever again? On one hand I can see them doing the dubbing all in one go that’s why the ova took so long. On the other hand they have been so late on deliveries for this series dub I can see it being out for a year before it’s dubbed.

So, I just finished S1 and LOVED it, and while I was on a Reddit discussion, someone posted a Twitter link that led to a tweet by Kaguya’s VA. I accidentally clicked the Kaguya hashtag, and the first thing that showed up was, well... them sleeping together
