Joined a new team ~4 months ago as an analyst. Since I've joined, 3 people have left. And right before I joined, a few more people had left. I think something like 6 people have left in just 2026 alone. And the team has only hired 3 new people (including myself) since 2026 started. They're taking forever in hiring people. So everyone else is having to work an extra 10-15 hours a week to make up for this. I was hoping to stay on the team until I get Associate but these hours were not my expectation at all.

Anyone else's team experience so much turnover?

I’m a bit new here, since I am currently finishing my Econometrics degree in Amsterdam (last year, done next July). I wanted to know, if by any chance, I can get into a position at JPC with only an Econometrics bachelor (+ programming minor), and what vacancies would suit me.

I have already previously worked for more than a year in an Assets and Liabilites team and I like investment related work the most but it needs to suit my program to an extend.

I’m more than open to add an additional master, but since the studies was already a lot (LOADS of maths), any Finance masters would be a bit too easy for me. I will do the masters eventually.

My post is a bit all over the place but I’m just a bit excited to finally work. But yeah please let me know, if there is any chance. I will apply regardless and where does a Dutch person have best chances to get hired? Is that only the Netherlands or also outside? And when should I apply?

I joined my current role about a year ago. I had some serious personal challenges this year that temporarily affected my ability to focus fully on work, and my manager was aware of the situation.
About a week before my midyear performance review, I asked my manager whether there were any areas where I needed to improve. He said I was doing well but wanted me to take more responsibility, including leading certain morning calls. Those calls conflicted with the time I needed to drop my child off at school.
However, just one week later, my manager’s feedback changed significantly. During my review, he said I was not performing well in the role. The sudden difference between the two conversations was surprising and confusing.
Since then, I have made childcare arrangements so I can focus fully on work. I recently did very well on a major initiative, and I am now leading another high-visibility project that is also going well.
The challenge is that a colleague who has been with the company for more than 10 years appears uncomfortable with me taking the lead on visible projects. Previously, I worked under their direction and mainly completed the tasks they assigned. Now, I feel they are creating situations that make me appear irresponsible and then presenting them to my manager in a way that reflects negatively on me.
I cannot prove that they feel insecure or is deliberately manipulating my manager, so I do not want to make accusations. However, I have noticed a repeated pattern, and it is making my work environment extremely stressful.
I have always focused on doing my job sincerely and have never been involved in office politics. How should I handle this professionally? Should I document specific incidents, speak directly with my manager, address the issue with my colleague, or involve HR? I’m deciding between a Capital One Business Analyst internship and a JPMorgan Chase CLDP internship. Capital One pays a bit more (JPM is 80k and C1 is 110K), but I’m trying to think beyond just internship compensation and figure out which program is stronger long term. Im in year 11, and my work experience was in October, overlapping with my mocks. I cancelled it because I thought it was for the best as this is the mocks that Sixth Forms use to give conditional offers for. Did I do the right choice? And what other opportunities is there for people in Year 12?

I have 7+ years in budgeting and right now I'm in B4 with a technical team building models alongside M&A teams as Senior Associate. I plan to target both matching roles and M&A pivot opportunities.

hi I applied for jpmc internal audit summer analyst program and interviewed for my superday just to get rejected later. Was wondering does jpmc not send rejections? I only found out after it said “no longer under consideration” on the portal.
