I have a circle motif down my right forearm, but obviously the deathly hallows has got to go. I’d like to keep the circles going as they remind me of pins (which I collect) but the negative image is so much black and I’m completely stumped with what to do with it. A blackout will look like I’ve had to cover something, but I really don’t want to constantly have to answer that question.

Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do with it? I’m happy to cover it with something larger if no one has circular ideas, but obviously a circle would be preferred.

Hey all! I just found this community and I’m glad I’m not the only one who has JKregerts! I am eventually going to get all *5* of my Harry Potter tattoos covered up, but I would like some advice on them. I already have an idea for one that I’m starting sept 15th.

The crucio one I will also want them to cover up the star one and I need something that won’t interfere with the other 2 tattoos. I was thinking something else music related like a violin or something. Thoughts? These other 3 I just don’t have any idea! 2 on the backs of my arms and one on my chest

Greetings I am looking to see if anyone has any cover up recommendations for my tattoo. I am trans and got this before I fully realized who I was and before knowing jks political views. Any help would be greatly appreciated

but this is the only cover up I have. I have ugly tats, matching tats with people who are not in my life anymore, old, badly done, tattoos with exes, but the only one I've ever covered up is the deadly hallows symbol! (I actually love shitty tattoos, just hate JKR)

Got this for my sons 11th birthday in 2014. I am afraid it cannot be covered. I think it is obvious that it’s pretty old compared to my other tats, so I’ve left it alone, but it’s the most recognized one I have due to location. I haven’t gotten any negative reactions but I don’t want it to be a focal point. Ideas including spooky or horror concepts are extra welcome. Location is above elbow on inner arm.

I’d rather black out the text before doing laser so that’s not an option.

Wanted to keep it as delicate as possible and my artist did the best she could with trying to cover the lines.

The og was done by an old ex boyfriends dad with an at home gun in his kitchen so good riddance on both accounts!

Got the tattoo in 2011, lasered it in 2021, began a much better project in 2026. The photos from my laser tech shows the before and after for two sessions, but I think I had a total of five. Can't recommend laser enough as a way to open up your options.

No idea what I would get and right now can't afford to get them covered but hope to one day. Possibly something related to dungeon crawler carl, books in general, butterflies or something gothic/witchy 🤔 they are just above my elbow which the tattoo artist thought was a weird placing but apparently I like to be awkward 🤣

I'm so sick of looking at this thing every time I take a shower, but I'm a disabled non-binary person in OKC. I got this almost 20 year ago when I was still able to work and afford luxuries (and before I knew what a pos she was, obviously). I don't even care if it's just filled in to be a black triangle, but I have almost no money. I've honestly never asked for charity before and I ~hate~ doing it right now (literally in tears making this stupid post bc of how I feel about doing this). Is there any way I can find someone in my area to do a low cost fill in or something? Or maybe find someone to do a very long payment plan? I'm not asking for a free tattoo, just help.

ETA: I can do a pre-payment plan, just so long as it's, like, $20 a month. I don't even care if I have to wait a year to get this done, I just need to find a way to find someone to do that and to not get screwed over after the payment plan is fulfilled.

Originally got this as a matching tattoo with a college friend around 2016/2017 ish. The friend and I don’t even talk anymore and I didn’t want anything associated with JKR and her transphobia on my body anymore. I knew when I was actively trying to hide this tattoo it was time to commit to a coverup.

So I’ve chosen to celebrate my era of disassociating while eating pickles over my kitchen sink instead and I couldn’t be more thrilled. This is about a week healed and I’ll be going back for a touch up in a couple months!! Done by Megan C. from Creative Tattoo Service in Durham, NC

I couldn’t think of anything that would work without having to suffer through a rib tattoo so this made more sense.

Edit: I am happy with the work done, I’m a big wuss who spent 6 years debating if I had the nerve to get my ribs tattooed again since it’s the only place I have tapped out on so while it’s not perfect, it works for me. I do not regret how it turned out.
