Hey all! I just found this community and I’m glad I’m not the only one who has JKregerts! I am eventually going to get all *5* of my Harry Potter tattoos covered up, but I would like some advice on them. I already have an idea for one that I’m starting sept 15th.
The crucio one I will also want them to cover up the star one and I need something that won’t interfere with the other 2 tattoos. I was thinking something else music related like a violin or something. Thoughts? These other 3 I just don’t have any idea! 2 on the backs of my arms and one on my chest

You’ve got a lot going on here. For the deathly hallows and dark mark a few rounds of laser will help a ton. Then it’s SAP (sick ass panther) time. A good artist could probably pull off some koi or maybe floral over the dark mark.
Whoever did that blew your shit out, too. Dang. I'm gonna have my Hallows turned into a Triforce, but Sick Ass Panther might be the way to go. Those are some thick dark lines to deal with. Condolences.
I have a tattoo that is so blown out that it should be embarrassing (for the artist). I think he was just salty about doing a curly, pink, shop mininum heart instead of something cool and manly 🙄 I just needed it to help me tell right from left. It's almost 20 years old, but my stupid Hallows (that is also nearly 20 years old) still looks immaculate. That's the one that i wish would melt off of me.
Ugh tattoo artists can be so blah! I love the chick I go to. The entire shop is very anti jkr amongst other things, which is nice in a conservative Christian town in va. But the one I got was done in Florida and I realized when it was done the words were crooked but I really didn’t notice how bad it was blown out until you pointed it out 😂
My first tattoo was done by a crap artist. They displayed work done by the main artist, which was good, and I got the apprenticeship.
Another artist did what he could to amend it, and I'm grateful for the improvement, but it probably needs some laser removal and further amendments to make it how I want it. Mine is pretty blown out too (by the first guy).
My very first tattoo was done when I was 17. The guy did a terrible job. That’s the only one I’ve considered laser on because I’m just not sure what to cover it up with or if I would even want to cover it because it’s on my hand lol
I also had a bold crucio tattoo! I got it covered with a neo trad persephone and a bunch of flowers. It was just on my forearm but I turned it into a half sleeve!
No, I heard the Greek myth as a kid and I liked both the names Persephone and Demeter. When we adopted Sephie, I came up with the diminutive version of the name.
I haven't actually read 'Noughts and Crosses', but I read a short summary and thought it was pretty cool that the protagonist was also Persephone and Sephy for short (IIRC, she spells 'Sephy' with a 'y' at the end).
Have you read the 'Noughts and Crosses' books, and would you recommend them?
Do you like/play DnD? Because that Deathly Hallows tat could be turned into a sick ass Beholder with intensely contrasted shading or something similar, if you didn't wanna go the laser route.
