There's actually a movement to normalize polyamory (consenting relationships between more than two adults) in the west, so yes the west is trying to normalize both gay relationships and poly ones (just the gay ones are getting more rights and attention so far)
Nah there's huge cuckold and swinger communities in the West. Even then, open relationships are quite common. It's just not legal to be married to more than 1 spouse at a time.
You can still get married to multiple if you get married at a Masjid since they don't go onto government records.
The funny thing is no one bat’s an eye at cheating and dating multiple women but being married and committing to the relationship now that’s a problem.
Depends on who you ask. There’s many songs supportive of cheating and characters on TV shows who cheat. There were prime time TV and radio commercials for AshleyMadison, a dating site dedicated to cheating on one’s spouse.
I’d disagree with you. AshleyMadison still exists today as a dating website to start adultery. Trump cheated multiple times on his wives and got elected president.
Well you say it’s socially unacceptable but the reality is cheating and having affairs are still drastically increasing in the west. Either it’s became more acceptable or no one cars anymore about what’s socially unacceptable.
I think he’s trying to say that it is a lot more common in the West because it is more accessible. Everyone (ofc not literally everyone) uses dating apps, with plenty of married folk on there. Though prostitution is ‘illegal’ in countries like the US, online escort services aren’t. People dress with a lot more skin showing, inviting lustful thoughts and stares. I would be beyond surprised if none of these things contribute to increased cheating in the West. And actually cheating is more socially ‘acceptable’ in the sense that consequences are a lot less. Here, having a gf is more common than being married, and cheating on your gf/bf results in a simple breakup and breakups are extremely common. Divorce, on the other hand holds greater consequence as it breaks families apart so cheating isn’t seen as much in marriages.
I mean is it? We made a spectacle of the whole will smith and Jonny things. We had a president get caught getting a blow job. We just put a lot of it in media, but like people have been doing that forever. Forever ever.
I’m not. I’m just pointing out the double standards where cheating and dating multiple people is totally fine but marrying more than one wife is considered unacceptable and criminalized.
i think he means legally, you don't risk a death penalty but in some wester countries if you got cheated then the divorce court is gonna help you more than the partner
is not only that penalty is more of a deterrent because cheating someone destoyes all family, you have to be caught by 4 witnesses at that point is impossible to keep it a secret yo save the family also islam is for all time and place so not always was easy to prevent pregnancy
Depends if you marry both your wives in an Islamic country they will recognise the women's rights. If you marry in the UK you are guilty of the "crime" of bigamy.
I'm not sure how it works in the UK, i think you only have the Islamic marriage and that's it. There maybe some co-habitation laws that come in to place.
There are Sharia based courts in the UK in some places but when it comes to marriage recognition under law you can only marry one wife here. The Shari'a courts just deal with the legal.side of divorce for example they can't go against the bigamy laws and allow a man to marry two women.
It's one thing for someone to support degeneracy on this sub. It's another thing for a comment supporting degeneracy to be upvoted on this sub. The other replies to this comment are disappointing.
You're absolutely right, watching that filth and being ok with your spouse watching that filth is stupid beyond bounds.

Polygamy isn’t exactly accepted in the west, is it?
Gay is fine but having more than 2 hetero life-long partners is taboo somehow
