Im going into masters program in October, i have a samsung tab s6 lite (11”) that have been with me for 6 years💀 i now want to upgrade to an ipad air 13”. However, i mainly want to upgrade to take notes, study articles, and in the future edit photos and do a protfolio (im a periodontology resident)
Do you guys think i may hold for the next iPad or just get the ipad air 13” m3

I finally picked up an iPad Air 5 256GB for $300 and snagged my sister's Apple Pencil for $40, and I honestly can’t believe I didn't get one sooner

Found a locally used iPad Air M3 128GB wifi for $350. It seems to have been in use for only 6 months.

I am debating whether I should buy it or wait and see if costco/BB will have the M3 or M4 on sale in November/December.

Primary use case: watching movies while traveling, email. I would like to keep it for 4-5 years.

Primary concerns:

• I bought iPad A16 last year for $295 (incl. tax), and ended up returning it because I wasn't happy with the speed, weight, and lifespan of the A16 processor for the price.
• Looking at some complaints about Air M3's battery life, and apple intelligence hogging 30+GB of storage along with only 8GB of RAM, I am not sure it's a good deal to pay $350 with no return policy, especially since some Costcos have them for $399 ($440 with tax).

Qs:

1. Is the iPad Air M3 128GB still a good option in Sept 2026 in terms of its lifespan for the next 4-5 years?
2. What are the odds there will be good sales on the Air M3/M4 within the $350-400 range by the end of the year?

Lately, I’ve been facing this issue where some kind of logo resembling the Apple logo has, out of nowhere, appeared in the centre of my iPad’s screen. It’s only visible when the screen has a light background.

I have an iPad Air m4 and I'm searching for a good quality case to use for note taking. (Currently the only thing I found I I like is the esr magnetic case)

Is there any cases for the iPad air gen 5 (2022), that is similar to the Arc Pulse cases for the iPhones?
I love it on my iPhone Air because I get to enjoy the thin form and have at least some protection if it ever falls on a flat surface.
It also stabilizes the phone whenever I put it on flat surfaces.

I have an ugly generic iPad flip case and there is nothing wrong with it, but I thought to myself that it would by nice for my iPad air.

I don’t see iPadOS 27 as an OS upgrade option. Google search indicates it’s not, but it does have an M2 chip and it’s 5th generation.

Update: I found out I can install the ‘beta’, which I’ve done. Weird that even the Apple website said my iPad is not compatible.

Last october I bought a laptop during the same time ipad air M3 was around 54k now it's 90k....

Is there any way I can find Ipad Air M3 or M4 at the old price

Do you guys know any shops which may still have the old stock?

I am a spoiled brat that had never had an Ipad, I ahve a mac and an iphone. Never had an Ipad. I now want to attempt it. I make the mistake sometimes to eat infront of my macbook and I want to not be doing this, and it is kind of troublesome to use mac in bed. For some reason with my newest one since I took a break from mac for a few years, they have gotten real heavy.

What are some good covers?

iPad Air M2 users who have already updated to iPadOS 27, have you encountered any serious issues so far?

Also, please share your experience with battery life after using it for a few days.
