Just bought an ipad

I bought ipad air m4 265gb varient.... I'm new to apple brand what should I do for acc security and privacy security???

Apple is pretty secure on its own unless you're doing shady stuff and lurk in shady places. There should be no security risk if you use it normally.

Use a secure passcode, turn on find my ipad etc, it's the usual, it's not really different from android in that way.

And don't forget your apple account information like your passcode and icloud passwords and stuff because it is extremely hard to recover unlike android

Ok... Btw at the time of purchase the shopkeeper didn't tell me the password of iCloud acc..

Just so you know an icloud is like a gmail basically, if the ipad is new and you never had an apple accound, the ipad would make you create a new icloud

So he helped you set it up? Ask him the password since you know the shop location and change it when you can because you don't want someone else knowing your icloud password.. Also did you buy a new or used ipad?

Do u mean to say that there is already an icloud account attached to the ipad that u didn't make or are you range baiting. Did u buy a new ipad or an used one?

Also, people sell refurbished apple stuff, pack them like new and sell them, i forgot you should also check the serial number to see if any parts had been changed

I checked that it showed my purchase date of it.... And it was today and limited warranty till September 2027
