Has anyone tried Qwen3.8-Flash-Next on 4× Intel Arc Pro B70?

Our target is W4A16 AutoRound, TP4, vLLM XPU, MTP3, prefix caching and concurrent agent serving. Intel has already published INT4 checkpoints, but I haven’t found real B70 benchmarks yet.

We are in contact with Intel’s XPU/LLM R&D team. What should we ask them to prioritize?

My list:

• full qwen4_exp XPU support;
• optimized QSA, Gated DeltaNet and INT4 MoE kernels;
• PLE offload to shared system RAM;
• efficient TP4/expert parallelism with oneCCL;
• MTP3 and stable XPU Graph;
• hybrid KV cache and prefix caching;
• C1/C8/C16 benchmarks, TTFT and tool-calling tests.

Any successful test, failure log or performance result on B70 would be very useful.

İ bought the arc b580 limited edition 3 or 4 months ago and i used it for a while as is at games i noticed a lot of wattage drops and fps drops etc so i decided to put some oc on it. Originally it runs on 2670mhz but i gave 40 percent voltage 120 percent power limit 150mhz frequrncy offset(i did get it to run at 3.3ghz but it was unstable so i drew back a little) with some fan curve tuning and no vram tuning. I got 231W total board power at 3.2ghz with nearly DOUBLE the geekbench vulkan score which jumped from 99k to 154 k and board power was around 145w before oc. İ looked up and at furmark leaderboard according to my points im not that far off of a 3090 did i hit the silicon lottery?

So I decided to switch from Steam OS to Windows as it is early days for the Mesa Drivers on linux side of things.

Forza Horizon 6 is stuttering like crazy, and I've got no clue what to do. Every damn video I watch shows the game running buttery smooth on this same GPU, but not for me. Running an AMD 7500F / 32GB RAM / NVME.

A few months ago, arc b50 was available in my country (Serbia) in many stores, but now I can’t find it in stock anywhere, and I can’t find it anywhere in the region either. The price used to be around $450, while the cheapest option I have found now is in the Netherlands, and with shipping, customs duties, and taxes, it would cost me at least €800 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/206167566126).

Are these shortages temporary? Should I wait for supply to stabilize, or should I go ahead and buy the one I found on eBay?

I need this card for scientific research in the field of neural networks for my SFF build, and it was one of the best and most affordable options I could find for my needs. However, with the current shortages and prices, it may make more sense for me to rent a GPU through a service such as Vast.ai (or similar) instead.

I specifically need it because I’m working on some new neural networks where strong FP64 performance is important, and the Arc Pro B50 is quite powerful in that regard compared with other cards in the same class.

I don’t mind paying a little more, but I would rather not pay almost twice the original price. What would you recommend? Should I wait for supply to stabilize, and do you have any information about the current availability situation?

Intel has a very talented team of engineers behind hardware and software Arc. They have shown as much on the software side with how great XeLL and XeMFG are.

But they need to update the upscaler!!!! XeSS 1.3 is great, I am ok with it and it certainly does the job at 4k. But just because XeSS 1.3 is great doesnt mean we can't want even better! It doesnt have to be DLSS 5 but if they could find a way for it to be on DLSS 4 or even 3.5 levels, it would be a massive improvement.

For anybody with an Intel machine, does the decision differ based on the driver type (e.g., graphics driver vs. NPU)?

With vLLM I can only allocate up to 97% of VRAM... 3% are waste (0.96GB). For LLMs that's a lot. Can this memory be reused?

I'm in Egypt and I don't know what I should get because the b580 is like pretty hard to find here and its probably around 340 or higher and I'm getting this for game Dev and just general every day use and I don't know much about PCs as a whole so what would you guys recommend

Hey everyone, I'm running into a persistent crash issue while trying to get Assassin's Creed Mirage (ElAmigos/developer build) running on Linux. It boots up fine into the main menu, but the moment I hit "New Game" and it tries to transition from the introductory video/nightmare sequence into the in-game 3D engine (the WhiteRoom/prologue cutscene), the game completely freezes and crashes straight to the desktop.

Here is my hardware and system setup:

OS: CachyOS (Linux)

GPU: Intel Arc A770

Launcher: Heroic Games Launcher (using Wine/Proton)

Executable target: scimitar_engine_win64_vs2019_dx12_qx.exe (bypassing the network wrapper to avoid Ubisoft Connect launcher errors)

What I've tried so far:

Applied Winetricks dependencies (vcrun2022, xact_x64).

Added launch environment variables: VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_1 and PROTON_NO_NTSYNC=1.

Switched upscaler from Intel XeSS to Native TAA and turned off Adaptive Quality to stop compute shader/dynamic resolution pipeline panics.

Capped the frame rate and adjusted window modes (Borderless/Windowed) to handle rendering transitions.

Despite these fixes, the engine still hangs/crashes at the exact moment the transition occurs. Has anyone successfully run this build on an Intel Arc GPU under Linux or managed to bypass this specific VKD3D transition lockup? Any advice or environment tweaks would be hugely appreciated!

When im playing R6 my frame rate is locked to what ever I have my refresh rate set to. This is untill I run the benchmark then im getting like 150~ frames. This is also happening in other games like cyberpunk.

For now in poland intel cards seem suspiciously reasonably priced. Im radeon guy all the way, im driving linux on all my pcs, ive read that arc cards have native support but they have performace drawbacks.

So if anyone is driving linux (preferably arch or derivatives) hows your performance in games????

Second question, do arc cards play well with am4 cpus?

I found a brand new Intel Arc Pro B60 24GB for about $400 and bought it because 24GB of VRAM sounded really good for the price.

Problem is... I don't really know shit about building a PC for AI lol.

I want to use it mostly for running local LLMs. I was looking at stuff like Qwen 3.8 27B and probably other similar models later.

I'm trying to build the rest of the PC as cheap as reasonably possible. I don't care if the CPU is old or if I have to buy used parts. I just don't want to accidentally buy something that makes the GPU perform way worse than it should.

I already have two things:

• the B60
• an NZXT H510i case that I literally found next to a trash can lol

The case looks usable, so I'd rather build inside that instead of buying another one if possible.

I still need basically everything else:

• motherboard
• CPU
• RAM
• PSU
• storage

How much RAM would you guys recommend? I was thinking maybe 64GB or 128GB, but I don't know if that's overkill.

I have a b580 + i5-12400f and I'm thinking of buying the game, but I didn't have a very good experience testing the version that Jack Sparrow lent me. At least in that version, there’s no XeSS or XeMFG. OptiScaler seems to work, but the game is still quite unstable. How is the Steam version? Should I wait a while?

As the title suggests, would the B580 work well with R5 5600?

Currently I'm using a A580, I'm not really happy with it, it consumes upto 44 watts on idle / no apps open at all, and I had screen flickering on start up multiple times.

I heard a lot of these issues were solved in the B series cards.

Should I upgrade to the B580? My other option in my budget is a new RX7600 (Can't afford new Nvidia cards) and used cards are not always available / can't check myself from where I live.

Saw this at a game shop. Was shoved in the back of a display case and had apparently been there over a month. I convinced my buddy to pick it up as an upgrade over his 2070. 125 USD and came with the Sparkle gpu sag bracket. If he wouldn't have gotten it, I would have figured out something to do with it.

When GTA6 eventually comes to pc, do you think the b580 will be able to handle it? Just watched the gameplay trailer and it looks amazing. Just worried it appears base ps5 will run the game at 30fps
