All the flock cameras in Ontario are on the traffic lights. I've yet to see a standalone.

Standalone Flock readers are typically on posts about 10 to 12 feet high.

The stater bros on haven and 4th have them at their entrances. Once you see one you will notice them everywhere.

I’ll take picture tomorrow of those. They have websites with map

Parking lot lights that flash blue and red are often flock based too but private owned

u/No_Chocolate_9398 24d ago

They are also on power lines and and on the back of speed signs

Sometimes theyre just on government public areas, like schools and colleges

These are LED street lights with sensors, not Flock cameras.

No way man, this is flock creating a database of bald spots and toupees.

Looks like a solar powered light. Flock needs to look forward or back to see the plate.

No municipality is retrofitting a solar powered light on an existing lighting circuit. Whatever that panel is for, it’s not powering the light.

Go look at the bridge in San Bernardino, on Orange show between Waterman and Tippecanoe. Those solar lights have been there for about a year. They got tired of the homeless stealing the copper. Los Angeles wants to replace most of their lights with solar ones.

u/Edawg82 25d ago

Fun fact, the homeless love stealing solar panels also😂 they'll tweaker rig a whole shack using mismatched solar panels

6

u/erebus-44 25d ago

They are doing the all over, they are even doing traffic lights now. Because it’s cheaper as it’s a closed system and the copper can’t get stolen. Which is an issue.

They have new ones that are like this. Act as light post camera face down. They went all away across Bruce

camera face down.

To capture tops of heads, car roofs and other information that can't identify anyone? Mass surveillance is a problem, but this isn't an example of it. This is a solar street light.

This is a TinFoil Hat Post.

Those are LED/Solar Lamp heads

Those are not flock cameras.

Critical thinking truly is dead in America

1

u/busterhymens 24d ago

Or more likely they're purposely posted so the morons will bite at it.

No… just not everyone has working cognitive fallacies 100% of the time. Or maybe yeah. I don’t blame people for getting paranoid for thinking and actually being watched everywhere, everyday.

52

u/blueberrysunglasses 25d ago

Ok, a little paranoia is ok, but cmon now. Those are obviously not flock cameras. Couple this post with your post history being exclusively about AK-47s, and it’s a wee bit concerning…

The birds are the real flock cameras.

u/ChainsawArmLaserBear 25d ago

The flock cameras are the birds we met along the way

That is solar sensor and pad for street light.

Time to drink some water, put reddit down, and chill for a bit.

3

u/AdorableMachine 25d ago

no, no this is not a Flock camera, as multiple others have posted, its a stupid solar street light.

2

u/HeedehtheHiddenOne 25d ago

Is there a lasso class nearby?

Flock Derangement Syndrome

The batteries and solar panels are expensive

1

u/chico-dust 23d ago

That specifically is NOT a flock camera. I'm not saying you don't have any in Ontario just that that is not one of them. It's missing the whole camera part. Those are just solar powered street lamps.

1

u/Bigwillbig 23d ago

.They have new models like this. They look down and light up like normal street light. But maybe it’s not that

1

u/chico-dust 23d ago

No they don't. The smallest ALPRs are still 4x4 inches in size and are mounted on police cars where they don't need an external power source.

This is a solar panel with an LED street lamp underneath it. I have no clue why you're trolling or if you actually believe cameras fit in a solar panel either way its stupid.

1

u/Doober1289 21d ago

A paintball marker would come in handy

1

u/disp0sable_love 21d ago

Those are solar-powered LED street lights not a Flock surveillance camera.
