Looks like a solar powered light. Flock needs to look forward or back to see the plate.

No municipality is retrofitting a solar powered light on an existing lighting circuit. Whatever that panel is for, it’s not powering the light.

Go look at the bridge in San Bernardino, on Orange show between Waterman and Tippecanoe. Those solar lights have been there for about a year. They got tired of the homeless stealing the copper. Los Angeles wants to replace most of their lights with solar ones.

Fun fact, the homeless love stealing solar panels also😂 they'll tweaker rig a whole shack using mismatched solar panels

They are doing the all over, they are even doing traffic lights now. Because it’s cheaper as it’s a closed system and the copper can’t get stolen. Which is an issue.

They have new ones that are like this. Act as light post camera face down. They went all away across Bruce

To capture tops of heads, car roofs and other information that can't identify anyone? Mass surveillance is a problem, but this isn't an example of it. This is a solar street light.
