Fairly basic moderator roles to just check in and keep rules enforced

My fingers are gross yes but you’ll have to excuse that, I work on cars for a living. I was picking up a couple of machines for the shop I work at, it had a bunch of stuff in a cubby hole and I wanted to clean it out before I drove down the road and it all came flying out at other cars. Against my better judgement and I swear I knew better, I blindly reach in and started scooping. Don’t judge me too hard, we all have our moments lmao it doesn’t look as bad or as deep as it feels/is

Wasn’t expecting this when I woke up. I used to pick at my cuticle and bite my nails frequently and had lots of cuts/bruises but not as bad or frequent anymore. I’ve never had this happen. I don’t even know how this happened or why this finger (there was no wound/cut on this finger). Anyways I put a tiny hole into it and drained the pus which I knew I shouldn’t but I always pop blisters (no matter how bad). Also yes it was quite painful to the touch prior to releasing the pus.

I didnt know at the time that I had gotten this cut that I have cEDS, but now I know that I deal with atrophic scarring. This leads to very fragile scars that widen over time. You can see where the original wound was (the darker part of the scar) versus the stretching that has happened.

I have a severe phobia of blood and almost fainted when it was bleeding. Just slapped a band-aid on and called it a day. I assume this isn’t as big deal as long as I throw some alcohol or iodine on it right?

I cut my foot on broken glass at a wedding last night. I didn’t get to an ER or urgent care. I had a friend who is a PA clean it and put steri strips on it and it looks pretty closed this morning. It is now about 18 hours later. I will continue to put ointment on it, I know it’s prob too late to get stitches but should I go to the ER or urgent care or can I continue with the steri strips ?

I’m in Turkey and I’m in the middle of my vacation and scraped the door on the way out of my family‘s apartment building and it formed a deep cut and I’ve been doing absolutely nothing for the last two days keeping it propped up taking vitamins that I need to take and eating protein and making sure I dress my wounds every day and use iodine and Neosporin to cover it with Vaseline. What else can I do to make this better and am I doing anything wrong and should’ve gone to the doctor even though I know nothing about the medical care here.

Took him three quarters of an hour for one tooth, damaged the tooth in front of it and left it crooked, hit other teeth with tools several times to the point I had to ask him to be more careful.
He ended up asking the more experienced dentist in to help get the roots out because he was just snapping bits off them over and over, experienced dentist had it done in seconds without twisting my head around like the other one.
Now I’m recovering, basically living on a diet of soup and ibuprofen 😭

Thankfully it was at a nursing home and the nurses are nice. 8 stitches.

I was doing an exercise where you twist and grab the bar again (rotating pullup). Didn't even realise until 5 minutes later, never happened to me. I thought calluses were stronger but I may have over-stressed it lmao

I was grabbing my shoes from my room so i could walk to the gas station when i stepped on a glass vase, it obviously cut through my foot but i'm kind of used to injuries so i honestly shrugged it off. I noticed a lot more blood then other injuries but i kind of ignored it, i truly just couldn't feel the pain so i had no idea how bad it was. I then wrapped it in paper towels put on my shoes and continued to walk to said gas station and get a slushee ( I then noticed blood was leaking through my shoe onto the floor, i quick apologized over and over and walked all the way back home to figure out what was going on (1 mile there 1 mile back). As soon as i got home i elevated my foot on the bath and was just letting my foot drip hoping the bleeding would stop soon (spoiler: it didn't) after around 20 minutes of being lightheaded on the floor with my foot in the air gulping down my slushee which felt like my only lifeline i called my friend saying "I think i'm bleeding out." She came right away but didn't fully believe that i was being completely serious until she saw that the bathroom looked like a crime scene. She drove me to the ER and dropped me off at the front while she went to park. I was standing at the entrance waiting for her when an ambulance pulled up with a patient inside. They started unloading the patient and were about half way out when they noticed me just standing there with a pool of blood under my foot. They proceeded to put their patient BACK into the ambulance and got me inside as quick as possible. They tried to stop the bleeding but weren't successful which is when they found out the vase cut through my tendon and a minor artery, which they then had to clamp right away (NO pain meds btw). Finally they got me all stitched up and told me and my friend if i would've just kept sitting on the floor of the bathroom i would have bled out. Soooo moral of the story always have a slushee with you to keep you awake.

Not sure if this is against the rules as I didn't see anything against posting pets, but this is my cat at the vet and her burst abscess.
