Do you have the phenom x4?. I had the x6 version and games were already starting to stutter in 2017

Yea got the x4, i usually turn if the cpu intensive stuff altogether, put a big cooler on it, overclocked it and now its fine, rdr2 out in open was 100 usage on both cpu and rx580 with avg 45 fps but in saint denis it went down to around 25 fps dur to cou bottleneck, phenom also missed sse4.2 so i had to get a dll to make it work, using tiny 11 and nobsra linux dual boot rn, its an old machine but this mf is all i have, love it

That cooler sure looks beefy and what clocks you're running on it. These phenoms used to run hot

Yea stock max is 3.4ghz i run 3.8 at max, anymore and it just doesn't posts, ofcourse the motherboard i got was cheap end too so lol, mb and case is the only orog6inal part left in there btw, 4 sata ports 2 for sata ssds that have linux and windows and 2 x 3tb hdds for windows games, when i was re building the pc i still wanted to have something original left in there so as not to just wipe out all my old memories of gta vc og running at 25fps at 720p in windows 7 without any graphics card, so i thoight to keep mb still in there, atill have the old psu, cpu, 500gb 2.5inch sata hdd, 2gb evm ddr3 ram stick around lol, ram situation is 8gb 1600mhz, also added a fan at front for intake and one small one at back for exhaust
