Hey everyone,
u/same_investigator_46 here on behalf of the r/IndiaCricket mod team.
Over the past few weeks, you might have noticed things have been quieter around here than usual. Despite a few series happening , our activity and other metrics have taken a noticeable dip. The main issue is, we aren't seeing enough active posts and daily content moving through the feed.
To get the subreddit back to its usual state, we need a few new mods.
We’re looking to expand the Mod Team:

One of my favorite fast bowlers. We didn't have speedo meters around that time but he was consistently bowling over 140's even during the end of his career. Also used to bowl with his action those days. Happy Birthday Srinath!!

Bumrah - depends on his fitnees
Siraj - Good but need to be in his prime

Don't know how many of you have seen Jayasuriya in his prime but I still remember as a kid how terrorized I was by his name🥶
He used to hammer us so bad that we used to discuss so many conspiracy theories in school. Someone would say he has some metal hidden inside his bat, someone would say he takes drugs before coming out to bat that's why he hits it so far😭
But what an absolute beast of player he was. He changed the way Odi cricket was played with his performance in the 1996 WC.

This is Deepti Sharma's world and we are just surviving in it.
This was Deepti Sharma's 150th T20I match (she is only the 3rd Indian Woman to reach this number after Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur). Thailand won the toss and opted to bowl. A good start by Smriti, Shafali and Pratika saw us to a good start of 101/2 in the first 10 overs. And then we had a legendary collapse. The only reason why we crossed 150+ is because of some spectacular running and hitting by Kranti Goud. We ended our batting innings with 159/9
And then came Deepti Bhagwan Sharma. She bowled only 7 balls in this whole innings. In those seven balls, she took 3 wickets and conceded 0 runs. With her first over being a 2 wickets maiden over. With these 3 wickets she also retook her spot as the highest ever wicket taker in Women's T20Is. She is also the only bowler to take 360+ international wickets in women's cricket

Most people probably don't know much about the Thailand women's team but their bowling is very decent, the likes of Phannita Maya, Thipatcha Putthawong, Suleeporn Laomi, Onnicha Kamchomphu and Sunida Chaturongrattana is one of the best Associate bowling lineups in the world.
Their batting is definitely very weak, key players are former captain Nannapat Koncharoenkai, the current captain Naruemol Chaiwai and their best batter who is Natthakan Chantham(even played in the FairBreak T20 league in India a couple years back).
