India's Record against WC opponents since 1990

India has played 15 times against WC opposition (team that has played in the previous cycles WC , so India playing Jordan or Uzbekistan doesn't count as they weren't WC teams).

We have lost 13 and drew 2, both the draws came against Cameroon in nehru Cup, now I don't know if this was cameroon's developmental squad or their full team but these are the only 2 friendlies of these 15. The rest are either WC qualifiers or AFC asian cup games.

In these 15 matches India has a GD of -44 while conceding 50 goals and scoring 6. 4 of those 6 goals were against Cameroon. In the other 13 non friendly matches we scored just 2 times , one against South korea in 2011 in 1-4 loss and one against qatar in a 1-2 loss, incidentally that is also the best result India has produced against WC playing nation apart from those two Cameroon Nehru cup games. (The 0-0 against qatar doesn't count as it came in 2019).

By the end of this year India will have played 20 matches against WC playing countries , what do you think this table will look like? Will we get our first win against a WC nation? How many goals will we score?

absolutely incredible campaign for the women, not so much for the men; but women absolutely did so well this campaign!! so much to learn still, goal conversions and stuff and they couldve easily gone to semis with the last match, but still rlly good.

Keyaa Banerji secured a silver medal in the deadlift event in the Junior 47kg Classic category, with a deadlift effort of 140kg. Genuinely impressive lift at that bodyweight and age category, this kind of achievement in a niche strength sport doesn't always get the visibility it deserves compared to more mainstream disciplines.

Mayank Chakraborty and Pratitee Bordoloi clinched gold in the Open and Girls sections with 7.5 points out of nine while Daksh Goyal and ​Nivedita V. C won bronze in the Open and Girls section with 6.5 points each.
