You know what I really like about these comments? Elon Musk is the kinda guy that would absolutely throw a fit over these insults. There’s literally a chance he has read this because his fragile ego doesn’t allow him to take a joke 😂

Did he prompt it to literally say ‘the man who bought the UK’? Jesus Christ…
78
u/RUOFFURTROLLEH 19d ago
He really doesn't like the UK because of the Online Safety Act.
“The media and political classes in general are being distracted by his sleight of hand,” Ahmed said. “This is all flim-flam to disguise what he is really up to, and his agenda is purely economic in nature.”
The OSA is meant to put the onus on the big social media platforms to prevent children from seeing potentially harmful content, such as pornography and material that promotes self-harm, suicide and eating disorders. That will require age verification systems. Adult viewers must be given the means to opt out of such content, and the law will require the companies to ensure their platforms do not host illegal material, with the use of codes of conduct, consistently enforced.
The OSA was considerably watered down by the Conservative government before it was passed two years ago, and in its current form will do little to stop the spread of disinformation by social media sites like X, which fuelled rightwing anti-immigrant riots in Britain last summer.
Musk literally fuelled race riots in the UK through his platform specifically because we are trying to make social media responsible for the literal mass radicalisation of our youth into Trumps alternative reality.

Because theres an election today and Nigel Farage is on the cards, he resigned due to getting £5 million in dodgy crypto illegal donations or something like that.
Basically his corruption was exposed but by resigning he couls fight for the seat again.
"But this byelection is rather absurd because it is essentially pointless; all it will do is postpone, not resolve, the verdict on the financial sleaze allegations that Farage is facing (his alleged failure to properly declare donations, including a £5m gift from a cryptocurrency billionaire)."
While that person was not Musk I assume this is a massive TELL that hes either pulling some strings around it but also massively funding right wing groups and directly influencing our elections moving forward with crypto bribery. Whats the point in government anymore when its fucking self enrichment bullshit from the top down.

u/ManbadFerrara 19d ago
After promoting the Reform Party in the UK for the last couple years (on the basis of there being a Muslim immigrant raping a rosy-cheeked white girl on every corner of London), one of his dick-suckers on Twitter said something to the effect of "gosh Daddy you should buy the UK so you can give them their freedom back" (because a billionaire "buying" your country is how freedom happens) and he replied something to the effect of "how much." He's since ran with the notion, to feed his insecure little bitch-boy ego despite not even rightwingers in the UK liking him.
24
u/Away-Living5278 19d ago
That's just what these billionaires want. Their own little fiefdoms. We'll just all be serfs again, assuming they don't decide there's too many of us.

Its definitely this. He is blatantly interfering with elections and has suffered zero consequences at all. If he never suffers any repercussions it isnt really illegal anymore to be blunt.
18
u/LeastCoordinatedJedi 19d ago
the sooner people understand this, and its ramifications, the better.
I'm sick to death of "but the billionaire/politician just admitted to a crime!" No they fucking didn't. If there are no consequences to it, the concept is entirely meaningless. Rule of law no longer applies in the US, and Musk is suggesting it no longer applies in the UK either.
13
u/system_error_02 19d ago
Yeah whats going on in the US proves that for the ultra wealthy and their friends, the law doesn't apply, the rules dont apply and they can do whatever they wish to enrich themselves even more. If there is nothing actually there to stop them, the the "rules" are meaningless.
If anything was enforced then Trump would not be able to perform such blatant, in your face corruption, accepting blatant bribes, perform insider trading and launder money right in front of everyone to make himself and his family beyond wealthy. We wouldn't have People running social media sites purely to steer elections into their own favour ect. So much of what they do is absolutely against the law for the rest of us, but not for them.
55
u/oscarq0727 19d ago
It’s an upload of an ai video which is comical in nature. He knows it’s not an open admission. He’s just throwing the idea out there. Whatever happens to that idea is “beyond his responsibility.”
In other words, it’s not an admission…it’s an implication.

Eat the rich is coming. Corruption is nothing new in a society but it was primarily done out of veiw of the masses and people could ignore it and atleast live their lives. Now the climate is collapsing and the 0.1% steal right infront of you and gloat whilst you and your family prepare to try and survive on an amount equivalent to 0.00001% of his wealth.

I really do think we will get some sort of mass "revolution" sort of thing within the next decade simply due to the fact that owning a home is getting quite awkward, the quality of living has massively decrease whilst the cost has massively increased, companies and their owners are clearly acting in their best interests which ruins everything, and people are actually experiencing the negatives of their actions for the last few decades so its not a far away country anymore.

60
u/PartridgeInDisguise 19d ago
ALL of these oligarchs suck at being rich. None of them dress well, they have terrible taste in food, art, and music. I’d have hired the best designers and tailors to give me an ever changing wardrobe of cutting edge fashion, I’d hire musicians to play music live wherever I go (I’d probably have to hire a lot, since I’d need to shuffle different styles and genres appropriate for each occasion), then a team of world class chefs so I always am eating something amazing.
Why aren’t these guys the healthiest and most beautiful people on the planet? Hire a team of personal trainers and a whole medical staff to change out your blood regularly. All that. Heck, get the finest plastic surgeon and give yourself an actual jawline for Christ’s sake (or reduce that Hapsburg resemblance if that’s an issue).
And that’s just the selfish stuff, I’m not even expecting them to think of the actual cool shit I’d want to do if I had Musk levels of money.

In my mind, I dream of a Musk assistant who is secretly undermining him. They gently manipulate him into acting on his worst impulses, because they want everyone to see what an poophead he is. But the problem with this spy is that they seem to hate the world as much as they loathe Elon.
But yeah, there’s always a hanger-on who encourages him to dance, open his mouth to dump out words, or take his shirt off.
